fearless and billboard 200

It was already written in here --> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Number-one_albums_of_2009_(U.S.) <-- I've just adjourned!--Dindo94 (talk) 14:03, 28 January 2009 (UTC)

It should not have been written there - the sources for Feb 7 were copied over fro the prior week, which is incorrect. I've reverted that change. - eo (talk) 14:42, 28 January 2009 (UTC)

American Idol Hot 100

Not a particularly meaningful intersection of categories. I'd vote to kill it at AFD.—Kww(talk) 21:49, 28 January 2009 (UTC)

If it were a Bulgarian talent show it would burn at AfD. My gut instinct tells me that consensus wouldn't be reached in this case, considering the notability of the show and the general US perspective that Wikipedia holds. I think you could go for it, but you would need a persuasive argument. I would vote delete myself. — Realist2 22:22, 28 January 2009 (UTC)

Re: Hot 100

Yes, I understand that Clarkson's song has been 'announced' as the next #1; however, the article uses unambiguous language to make clear that the song is 'not yet' the #1 song (emphasis added):

"Kelly Clarkson will make history on this week's Billboard Hot 100, to be posted tomorrow (Jan. 29) on Billboard.com, with the largest leap to No. 1 in the chart's 50-year history."

As the Hot 100 page currently exists, the last line in the intro is for the current #1, which is GaGa. For now, I'll leave the page as-is until one of us can convince the other about what I think should be called an official leak of future conditions is considered an official announcement of current conditions. -- CB (ö) 21:53, 28 January 2009 (UTC)

I don't know what your are doing

I am going to keep reverting the page until there is discussion. Billhits (talk) 22:49, 28 January 2009 (UTC)

I have made some changes to American Idol Hot 100 singles and since you voted Delete in the AfD, I would appreciate you looking at the article and telling me what you think. Aspects (talk) 19:55, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

Badu

DON'T YOU EVER REVERT MY EDITS IF YOU ARE NOT CHECKING THE SOURCES. The album is in stores, stupid. Walmart, CD Universe, BestBuy, etc. It was a compilation of some of her past songs and new songs.[1], [2]. YOU BETTER CHECK YOURSELF BEFORE YOU START AN EDIT WAR OVER STUPID STUFF. Tarysky (talk) 02:24, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

And it's a store item.[3] So you better ask somebody before you find yourself blocked for vandalism, bad faith, and definition of character. Tarysky (talk) 02:36, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
This isn't a personal attack, but a warning. Because your block is close should you step out of line for your own personal agressions. Tarysky (talk) 02:45, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
Final warning for personal attacks posted to user's Talk Page. Other editors who may see this, check Talk Page's history, as User will undoubtedly remove it. - eo (talk) 02:46, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
No personal attacks were made against you. However, I'm going to correct that person when they are wrong. That's not a personal attack. Tarysky (talk) 02:52, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
Unacceptable attack here: [4] and the above message left by Tarysky. All warnings removed from Tarysky's Talk Page by the user, as suspected. User was asked to stay off my Talk Page here [5] and here [6]. - eo (talk) 02:56, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
Comments, websites, and more were explain. However, you took it as a personal attack. I'm trying to help correct you! I would stay off this page if you would listen to what is being said, but you refuse to listen to reason. I am now requesting your block for "definition of character" and "bad faith". Tarysky (talk) 03:07, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
You've been warned and asked before. Stay off my Talk Page and stop with the unacceptable attacks. You may also want to doublecheck your incorrect use of the phrase "definition of character". - eo (talk) 03:11, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

That IP you just blocked for 48 hours was once blocked for 6 months. They started vandalising soon after it expired. I have no reason to think this is a shared IP. Just get them of WP for some reasonable time (longer than 2 days). If they're a shared IP, they'll let you know. SBHarris 01:29, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

Discussion at WikiProject Record Charts

Please see this discussion and provide your opinion on proposed page moves. Thanks, Dabomb87 (talk) 01:27, 3 February 2009 (UTC)

Hi, by any chance you know some database where I can find a source for the missing weeks in this years, apparently Billboard dosen't have every week in its page and is almost impossible to find sources from those years (that are free). Thanks in advance. Frcm1988 (talk) 18:56, 3 February 2009 (UTC)

No, Im not suscribed; 12 weeks from 1984 when Purple Rain was number-one are missing, but since every week has the two previous weeks I put that source for the three weeks, but sometimes there are four or five straight weeks without a source; week of September 22, October 27, November 24 and December 01; from 1985 some of the weeks when Tears for Fears, Bryan Adams, Dire Straits and the Miami Vice soundtrack were number-one are missing, and I did the same in this list, but still there are missing references for the weeks August 17, October 26 and November 30. Frcm1988 (talk) 21:48, 3 February 2009 (UTC)

ok ill try and find it...one question though, once i find it how do i write it on the wikipedia page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.28.159.237 (talk) 18:10, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for File:Heart This Man Is Mine.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Heart This Man Is Mine.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. I have many sockpuppets as Billhits but Ciarafan247 is not one of them. So I don't know if you are responsible for that mistake in the "suspected sockpuppets of Billhits" or someone else is. But for Ciarafan's sake take them off that list because I would be loathe to prevent someone else from editing wikipedia!!! Thank You!!! Flo Rida - Right Round

Hello I know it doesn't say that but she is on the song on the cd cover. I know it isn't credible just because she says so on her space page which she does. There is an interview on by a radio station. Interview She confirms it on air and how Flo Rida asked her to come on the song, and how he has included her on another song on his album called 'Touch Me'. This website is alright Flo Rida Breaks Sales Record with 'Right Round' I'm sure there a lot more out there too if searched out. Maybe it's just worth adding some where that the singer is featured in the chorus. Raintheone (talk) 17:48, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

Hi Eo, could you please do something about this editor, even if it's a quiet little chat. He continually adds unsourced information to articles, and has received endless final warnings. I noticed {merge} flags on both the Marmalade and Dean Ford and the Gaylords pages back in August 2008. I added my full agreement to such a merger on both article's talk pages and, rather breezily, said that without any dissent from elsewhere, I would effect the merge procedure by the end of 2008. God knows why I did, because I have got cold feet. I do not think there is anything contentious, just that the procedure looks a little daunting to me. Could you oblige, or give me a fool's guide as to how to effect it. Do not lead me to the Wiki help pages for mergers - that gave the cold feet in the first place. Your obedient, cack handed and addled old fool,

Takin' Back My Love

I'm having to travel to Curacao today for a doctor's appointment, so I won't be able to practice my usual bad-chart vigilance. I'd appreciate it if you kept an eye on Takin' Back My Love starting at about 10PM GMT: there's been an Iranian editor putting in an enormous pile of bad charts, and his block expires around then.

One interesting new toy: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:AbuseLog&wpSearchFilter=81 will show you a list of every edit that has added a bad chart since the filter went in place yesterday. I took care of everything up to

  • 06:53, 24 March 2009: 124.104.139.42 (talk) triggered filter 81, performing the action "edit" on Myx. Actions taken: none; Filter description: Badcharts

You might want to check that periodically.—Kww(talk) 10:26, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

Billboard milestones (19 weeks on top)

"Most consecutive weeks at #1," even with multiple singles, is a matter of some chartwatching interest. (Other people have put in edits about the subject before.) It seems the most logical to connect it to one of the related lists. Or do you think it belongs as a separate item in "Additional achievements"? I know that you've preferred to keep that section under control whenever possible. (I'm a longtime anonymous IP contributor to the page.) I don't see why a 19-week run at #1 wouldn't belong somewhere on the page. I'd appreciate hearing your thoughts on the matter. Thanks!208.120.7.152 (talk) 21:34, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
