Question about public domain -v- copyright

Hi there. I created a page for Lake Brownwood State Park which has been deleted for copyright infringement. Since the primary source was the park's website and brochures from the State of Texas, I thought this qualified as "public domain". Is that not correct? Kem05f (talk) 16:05, 15 December 2012 (UTC)\

Hello. The footer of the Texas Parks and Wildlife website says "Content of this site copyright Texas Parks and Wildlife Department unless otherwise noted." Check out this code, please

Hi Emayv. A page I follow (Tyson Beckford) was changed without a citation being used to support the change. As I was adding that "citation needed" code, I saw there seems to be some very strange code in the body of the text under "Early Life". You can't see it on the "Read" page--it's embedded in the code and starts with the phrase, "He is Zambo..." Is that vandalism? Is it just a really long title? Perhaps there some valid reason for that to be in the code and the code is simply written incorrectly? Appreciate your taking a look at it at your convenience. Thanks. Hello! It might be a quote from the book which was incorrectly labelled. However, the phrase "He's a shi3eee" indicates that it might be vandalism. To be safe, you might want to remove the entire "| work =" section along with the text. It isn't visible and the text is suspicious, so removing it can't cause any harm. The unclear citation style tag was added here, when the citations we just links without any other information (date accessed, author, title, etc.) However, information has been added to each of the references, so you are free to delete that tag.
