I'm happy to see you interested in transposon mutagenesis but I'm a little worried about your approach. You seem to be planning a whole section on McClintock. This is already on WP under transposable elements. I think you topic is a good one but it should focus only on transposon mutagenesis as a technique. We can chat in person if you like.

Tom

Thanks Tom!

I see your point and I completely agree. I also noticed that the page on Transposase has a lot of the biochem already covered. I'm going to focus my paper around the applications of transposon mutagenesis itself, the outcomes, and the difficulties associated with it in research.

I'll come to you if I need any help!

Elliot
