May 2016[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Flyer22 Reborn. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to The John Lyon School has been undone because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. I have partially reverted Flyer22's revert. The edit clearly was not an "experiment", but was itself likely a revert of previous vandalism.
ElleCee, welcome to Wikipedia, and please don't let mistakes like the above turn you off editing. Flyer22 Reborn was using the vandalism auto-revert tool STiki, which appears in this case to have automatically marked your edit as "vandalism" because it is quite common for vandals to switch "good" to "bad" and vice-versa on Wikipedia. Ironically, your edit was apparently a reversion of previous vandalism and (perhaps because your account has not been autoconfirmed yet) your edit was inadvertently picked up. I do not engage in tool-assisted editing myself, so I'm not sure how much control Flyer22 had over either his/her own revert of your edit and the above message left for you.
I have changed the governor's name back to "Goodfellow", but I left the ordering of the deputy heads as was per the school's website.
I will also (attempt to!) report the error with the STiki programming so that these misunderstandings can be prevented in the future.

Hi, I'm new(ish) user ElleCee, thanks to Hijiri 88 for spotting and amending the mistakes on the John Lyon School Website, the correct name for the Governor is Giles Goodfellow as per this source http://www.johnlyon.org/about.aspx?SubCatID=7 and the correct order of the deputies should be Andy Sims and then Jonathan Pepperman as that is the order they were appointed in, however I can live the order being incorrect as long as the governor's name is correct.
