Please do NOT remove the speedy deletion template from articles, such as you did (twice) at Messina Hof. Further removals will be considered vandalism. As for the article, please see Wikipedia:Your first article, especially the "Things to avoid" section. Thank you, Drmies (talk) 18:59, 29 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 22:04, 29 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your hangon rationale[edit]

You wrote, "This wiki entry is official." Sorry, but that means it must either be made unofficial or it must go. See WP:OWN, WP:COI, and WP:NOTWEBHOST. -- Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 23:37, 29 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

New version?[edit]

I am not sure where you pasted a new version--you don't mean the one in your sandbox, User:Ejoi/Sandbox? That one, I believe, is perfectly acceptable as a stub. You know what, I'll put it up and we'll see what happens. Have you found a nice picture of the vineyard yet? Drmies (talk) 22:02, 30 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The vineyard takes up 42 acres (17 ha) of Messina Hof’s 100-acre (40 ha) estate, which also has a bed and breakfast and a restaurant.

Ejoi, thanks for helping fix up the Messina Hof article. ChildofMidnight (talk) 21:33, 1 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • The discussion at the bottom of this page might interest you Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Wine. Feel free to comment. Also, if you have a photo of the found of the winery in front of the winery buildings or with the wine I think that would be good. The other shot didn't look terribly encyclopedic, but if it's all you have you can always try including it and if someone objects they'll remove it. There are really no hard and fast rules here. Take care. ChildofMidnight (talk) 04:42, 2 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Messina Hof, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. AfD nomination of Messina Hof[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Messina Hof. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Messina Hof (2nd nomination). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:16, 25 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
