A tag has been placed on Abdelkrim Dali requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Epeefleche (talk) 22:08, 7 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article Senâm has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable hill, lacks RS coverage, wholly unsourced.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. The article Boudjemaâ El Ankis has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Kamal Messaoudi.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Kamal Messaoudi.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Pichpich (talk) 21:45, 10 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Chaâbi Rock'n Bled for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Chaâbi Rock'n Bled is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Chaâbi Rock'n Bled until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The article Malika Domrane has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article. The nominator also raised the following concern:

All biographies of living people created after March 18, 2010, must have references.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Thanks for uploading File:Screen shot 2012-02-20 at 3.05.32 PM.jpg. However, it needs some more work before it is okay to use on Wikipedia.

Please click here and do the following:

  1. Add a description of where the image comes from (not what it is) and who the creator is. Please be specific, and include a link if you can.
  2. Find the appropriate license from the list of free, non-free media, or public domain options. Copy the license template and paste it in the file's page, and save.

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at Libya, you may be blocked from editing. I see you re-created this userbox. Partially my fault; I referenced WP:IAR last time I deleted it, which was needlessly cryptic. I've re-deleted it, and protected it against re-creation. It clearly goes against WP:UP#POLEMIC, "very divisive or offensive material not related to encyclopedia editing". Possible venues to appeal this decision are WP:DRV or WP:ANI. However, do not re-create the userbox at any other page name until you can demonstrate consensus that my deletion was wrong. Otherwise, I will block you for disruption. --Floquenbeam (talk) 18:02, 8 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article Cheb Nasro has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No reliable, independent references about him. What is RAI?

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Baya Mahieddine, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://wwol.inre.asu.edu/mahieddine.html.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. Reversion in Muhammad[edit]

I reverted your edit in Muhammad to state that Muhammad was trader, not a leader. If you pay attention to the sentence structure, you'll find that the sentence in question is talking about what Muhammad was just prior to his revelations. Only after that he became a leader -- proof of this is found in this article and other articles about Muhammad. If you have any questions or comments about this change, please reply here instead of simply reverting again. If you feel this was a POV edit, please point out where and how this is so. -- Frotz(talk) 21:56, 24 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No, it's the first adjective about Muhammed in the article, the description as a trader is not representative of the person, and he was a leader even when a trader. You know the story about the arab tribes and who'll have the honor to put the last brick in the Kaabah (when in restauration after floods), they gave Mohammed this honor because he was a respected leader in the city. Please read: The Leadership of Muhammad at Google Books by John Adair. Regards. --Dzlinker (talk) 23:04, 24 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Dzlinker. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Lotfi Double Kanon, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Lotfi Double Kanon to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.

If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.

Disambiguation link notification for October 1[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Algeria, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Oaks, Cedars and Fig (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Replaceable fair use File:8 yo Hassan III of Morocco at the Zoo de Rabat get his hand kissed.jpeg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:8 yo Hassan III of Morocco at the Zoo de Rabat get his hand kissed.jpeg. I noticed the description page specifies that this media item is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails the first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media item could be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media item is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the file discussion page, write the reason why this media item is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. 12:50, 19 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

October 2012[edit]

Please stop adding unreferenced or poorly referenced biographical content, especially if controversial, to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Berber people. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Jayjg (talk) 20:48, 21 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Dzlinker, if you add this unsourced material one more time, particularly as it includes claims about living people, I'm just going to take it to WP:AN/I, because I don't really have the time or interest to spar with editors who are unconcerned about policy. Your choice. Jayjg (talk) 20:49, 21 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Madonna of Bentalha.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Madonna of Bentalha.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:33, 28 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ruby[edit]

Hi DZlinker

I just undid the last revision by Omar-Toons in Fkih ben Salah. He erased The link even after I provided a source (an article of the Telegraph, the prestigious English newspaper !!!!!). That link will not be erased again otherwise there will be consequences.

Thanks

Declined your AIV report[edit]

Hey, Dzlinker, just dropping in to let you know that I've declined your report at AIV about User:Omar-toons. His edits are not vandalism per Wikipedia's definition of vandalism. They may be disruptive in other ways (haven't looked into it closely enough to see), but they're not vandalism. Some of the diffs you reported are over a year old, so they're way way way too stale for AIV, which is intended for quick responses to immediate, uncontroversial problems. Incivil edit summaries, combative tone, edit-warring, etc. are all disruptive, but they're not vandalism, so they don't belong at AIV. And anyway, AIV requires multiple warnings before a report; just telling them "I am reporting you" doesn't cut it. Writ Keeper 03:50, 1 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Dzlinker

Thanks a lot for the reference regarding male prostitution in Morocco, it contains precious information, I will take it into account for further improvements...Fort-Henry (talk) 23:55, 18 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome. There is many other important facts about moroccan society, that should be brought up and studied in depth. Will keep in touch. - 00:25, 19 November 2012 (UTC)

Moving section[edit]

Hello.

Please avoid moving the section regarding sexual tourism in Morocco to your new article prostitution in Morocco. Omar-Toons jumped on the occasion on deleted the whole content from the main. A discussion is still on and a concusses should be reached before any further actions. Thanks a lot. Fort-Henry (talk) 12:28, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sephardi Jews[edit]

Nice to meet you. I like what you did in the Sephardi Jews infobox, I was surprised though when I didn't see Pedro Nunes there. I know his family was forced to convert but still, ethnically he was Sephardi Jew. Also, Yasmin Levi would be a good entry because she is well known and recorded in Ladino (and there should be at least one women in the image). And in order to add a person to each line we need one more, which can be David D'Or who is an extremely famous singer in Israel (and there should be representatives from Israel. Just giving few ideas. Mensch with Shteig (talk) 21:30, 25 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Berber revolt : Reminder[edit]

Hello,

I would like to remind you that this edit isn't consensual, and that in a previous discussion you got no consensus, but two users explaining to you that you shouldn't remove the template. You even wrote on July 2nd 2011 that you were convinced. Then, making these changes again, now, without consensus nor discussion is WP:DISRUPT.

Any further disruptive editing on this article will be reported to WP:ANI.

Thanks.

I had to laugh at that name. Now I know one of my wife's ancestors, on my mother-in-law side of course. I think alot of inbreeding happened in order to produce someone as evil and vile as my mother-in-law. :) Bgwhite (talk) 06:54, 1 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Maghrebis Quarter[edit]

I don't know if you speak french or arabic. The same users who have distorted article did tried the same thing in the arabic article but we intervened to stop them, you can see here (Talk:Maghrebis Quarter in arabic) and here (Talk:WikiProject arab world in arabic). I think we must not abandon. We should reunite many users as I have done in the arabic Wikipedia, after we put a request to change the title and to modifie the article. The article Nacéra Benseddik has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

NO INDICATION OF NOTABILITY - NO THIRD PARTY SOURCES

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Coat of arms of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic[edit]

I presume that you meant to restore this version so I went ahead and did that for you. This also involves Coat of arms of Western Sahara, bacily (the way I see it) he's been trying to split the article in two despite conciseness to have one article. Related discussion at Wikipedia:Neutral_point_of_view/Noticeboard#Flag_and_Coat_of_arms_of_Western_Sahara_.2F_SADR and Talk:Coat_of_arms_of_the_Sahrawi_Arab_Democratic_Republic#Move.3F.
