Your new templates[edit]

Your new templates, Template:HPE quote block and Template:HPE quote are generating div-span-flip lint errors.

<div>...</div> tags can wrap <span>...</span> tags, but when <span>...</span> tags wrap <div>...</div> tags, it's a div-span-flip lint error.

Template:HPE quote block and Template:HPE_quote each have <div>...</div> tags wrapping <span>...</span> tags, which is fine. The problem is the way you use them together.

In User:Dougdraws/sandbox, you have multiple examples of Template:HPE quote block wrapping Template:HPE quote. So, the <span>...</span> tags of Template:HPE quote block wrap the <div>...</div> tags of Template:HPE quote.

In Wikipedia:Wikipedia in Health Professions Education/Tools, you have the same arrangement.

The workaround might be to change Template:HPE quote not to use div tags, or it might be to change Template:HPE quote block not to use span tags, or it might be to avoid nesting the templates. Also, it's best to code Wikipedia with spaces rather than underscores in Template names and in wikilinks, as I have done here on this page. —Anomalocaris (talk) 04:59, 15 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Anomalocaris Thank you so much for your help! I think i have fixed this by changing the spans to divs in Template:HPE quote block and did the same for a container span in Template:HPE quote. I also removed the underscores. I hope I have resolved this problem. Thanks again for your help! Dougdraws (talk) 11:23, 15 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
