Uploading of Image:SYDAp2.JPG onto Commons[edit]

Why does the version of the image on Commons have an image of a space shuttle on the back? It wasn't there when I took the image. ætərnal ðrAعon 10:12, 25 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, please do not add information about charts specifically mentioned at WP:BADCHARTS as you did here. Thanx. 84.123.130.27 (talk) 00:38, 8 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Blue Mts[edit]

Thanks for letting me know about the deletion debate. By the way, where can I find the stats of the number of hits an article has had?

When nominated a MFD please remeber to transclude it on WP:MFD. Thank you, — xaosflux Talk 22:50, 9 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

MFD being the improper deletion venue for a mainspace page, I've opened a new discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Blue Mountains articles. Feel free to weigh in there. GlassCobra 18:37, 10 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Blue Mountains[edit]

Thanks for letting me know about the proposed delete template. I still think the article doesn't double up on the category, which only lists about 29 articles, whereas the list has about 80, which is all of them as far as I can see. I think there's room for both. Can't see the problem. Sardaka (talk) 10:08, 31 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A category is exactly the same thing. The category is easier to navigate because it has sub categories. The articles that are not in the BM categories would certainly be in a sub categoryDimadozen (talk) 22:33, 31 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Another point is that those categories at the bottom of the articles are easy to miss. I doubt if the average casual reader would see the category at the bottom, and even if they did, they probably wouldn't realize that it contains a list of the BM articles. Whereas, my list, under "See also", stands out and will be seen, and people know it contains a list of all the articles. I really think you're being too stubborn about this.

And if all the articles are buried away somewhere in sub-categories, as you say, that's still no help to the average reader, who wouldn't know how to find them.
