Just so you know, I reverted your last edits at English personal pronouns, because it looked like you were just testing out the wiki markup. (?) If so, you might want to use Wikipedia:Sandbox instead; that's a space reserved for markup experiments. :-)

Can you explain what bothers you about this text:
- Historically, my comes from a reduction of mine, and well after the emergence of my, mine continued to be used instead of my before words beginning with vowel sounds. Similarly with thy and thine.
and what you find better in this text:
- Historically, mine (originally mīn in OE) was eventually reduced to my. Similarly with thy and thine.
? I think it's important to give the information that not too long ago, the my/mine distinction was as today, except that mine was used instead of my before words beginning with vowel sounds. Hopefully we can find a compromise that will suit both of us.

Thank you for your contributions! A few notes regarding you recent changes: (1) we have a manual of style regarding how we present dates. In general, we use "24 December" or "December 24" as opposed to "December 24th" or "24th of December". I also noticed you changed some words from American spelling to British spelling. This is constructive, but simply not needed. Since the English Wikipedia is used by people who write in various forms of English, we try to either conform to what the subject relates to (Elizabeth II should be British English, Barack Obama should be American English), or whatever was originally in the article. Here this subject is Canadian, so we have no particular and well defined variation, so we should just stick with what we already have. More at WP:RETAIN.
