Google Street View in Serbia[edit]

Can you give a link for your information? You saw a Google Car personally? - --EugεnS¡m¡on(14) ® 14:28, 12 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

---Yes, I am not sure if that's a viable source. I saw it, but it had a different branding/logo on it (of a local map making firm). I called the firm and they confirmed that they were contracted by Google. Deusdies (talk)

Where in Belgrade? What is the name of the firm? Regio? Do you have a photo? Unfortunately this information will be deleted if we don t find a source or a photo. Regards - --EugεnS¡m¡on(14) ® 15:35, 12 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't take a photo, but some other person did. See http://www.beobuild.rs/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2913&p=208326 for more information. The company's name is GeoPut. The name of the street is Patrijarha Pavla (Patriarch Pavle) near Belgrade. Other users have also reported seeing it elsewhere in Serbia.
I have big doubts about this...most likely are on their own job... but if they signed a contract with Google it is a world premiere. Google uses only this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:GoogleStreetViewCameraCloseup.JPG type of the cameras. Probably the image quality will be much smaller. - --EugεnS¡m¡on(14) ® 16:08, 12 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
