Human disguise

Hi Dave, The above article is up for deletion. I can't see anything in the Encyclopedia of Fantasy about this topic, does the SF version cover it either in current or forth coming versions?--Peter cohen (talk) 23:35, 30 October 2009 (UTC)

Sorry, Peter, it's been a while since I logged in. DISGUISE, SHAPESHIFTING and maybe ILLUSION are possibly relevant EoF entries. I intend to add SHAPESHIFTING in the sf sense to EoSF, to cover the many sf examples (mostly ALIENS). There is now an entry for HYPNOSIS which, along with the already existing PERCEPTION, covers some of the ground of "seeming to be what one is not". Calling the phenomenon "human disguise" seems a bit lumpish -- which is maybe why it's in disfavour. DeafMan (talk) 14:59, 3 December 2009 (UTC)
