I'm a little confused about the "fact" tag you put on this article. Thompson's folks are offering free bus rides to the straw poll to just about everybody over 60 in Iowa. My mother-in-law turned down the offer of a ride and a free meal because she has relatives in Wisconsin (us) who have told her about Thompson's record, and as a Christian she could not in good conscience take a gift from a man she would never vote for. PS, for things that predictably run for a year (or I suppose longer), I have created two annual categories which can be invoked using just the year in the {{current}} template date argument. Date linking[edit]

A month should be deleted from the "Deaths in [CURRENT YEAR]" page ONE WEEK after the month ends.

or

  • Oppose.

Please do not remove accessdates. I have no idea why you did it, but when someone actually puts in the effort to mark it, removing it just isn't nice. Also, newspapers and websites are works, not publishers, therefore my use of "work=" was correct, and it was incorrect for you to change it. -Rrius (talk) 02:25, 19 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Changing 2010 election links[edit]

Please exercise more care in changing article text w.r.t. the recent rename of next United Kingdom general election to United Kingdom general election, 2010. Twice now I have noticed you have changed text to read '2010 election' where it was clear from the context or the reference that the year was not known at the time. This is historical revisionism, and is not correct or desirable at all. Change the underlying link by all means, but if it is not appropriate to the article, do not add 2010 to the text. I am curious to the reasoning of re-scrambling the categories so that people can't see if something is missing, and in the persondata, deleting nationality, as well as gender-neutalizing congresswoman to U.S. Representative, the inprecise U.S. Representative 'from Indiana', when she was from Mississippi and for Indiana. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.
