File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Nitro Girl Spice In Ready To Rumble.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Nitro Girl Spice In Ready To Rumble.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 05:09, 18 February 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 05:09, 18 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Madison Eagles has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Hi, I deleted this page because it contained a very large chunk of copyright text from http://www.lethalwow.com/bios/madisoneagles.php . We can't copy the writing from other source unless they explicitly donate to us via email. You can write the article again using your own language, however please bear in mind that it might be deleted for notability reasons (see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Madison Eagles (3rd nomination)). Welcome and thank you for your contributions. This is a notice that your test has been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment further, please use the sandbox instead. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. The page you were editing was not an article, but someone's userpage. Do not make those edits again. Syrthiss (talk) 13:19, 7 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Syrthiss (talk) 13:22, 7 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Look, do not revert my edits. Its fine if you thought you were editing an article, but now that you know definitively that it isn't you need to stop. You've been editing here long enough to know that userpages are not articles. If you wish me to transfer the content that you were editing to a sandbox so you can prep it for an article, let me know here. Syrthiss (talk) 13:25, 7 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Feedback on an article[edit]

Hello, I saw that you created NWA Southern Women's Championship (Georgia Version). I looked through the article today and noticed some issues with it. If you could correct them that would be great. If the issues remain unresolved I may have to reccomend the article for deletion. Hasteur (talk) 16:38, 10 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Just wondering, is "(Georgia Version)" part of the official name of the championship, or is it for disambiguation purposes (i.e. is it intended to provide further information about the championship)? If the former, apologies for moving it based on a misunderstanding; if the latter, the article should really be called NWA Southern Women's Championship. – hysteria18 (talk) 04:07, 12 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Invite to Research Survey[edit]

Hi Davazchick,

I'm part of a team that is researching ways to help Wikipedia editors find interesting content to contribute to Wikipedia. More specifically, we are investigating whether content from news sources can be used to enhance Wikipedia editing. We are creating a tool, called wikiFeed, that will help Wikipedia editors make connections between content from Twitter or RSS news feeds and Wikipedia articles. We are currently gathering data which will help us in the development process and would love to learn about how you consume news content and how it relates to your Wikipedia editing. If you would like to help, follow this link to complete a brief survey. Your feedback will help us create a better tool.

For more information about wikiFeed, visit our project page. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask via my talk page, or by email at wikifeedcc@gmail.com. Thanks for your time! RachulAdmas (talk) 15:54, 25 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. The article NWA 2000 Tag Team Championship has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Doesn't meet WP:GNG. No significant coverage in reliable independent sources.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
