AIV Reporting[edit]

Thank you for making a report on Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, administrators are generally only able to block users if they have received a recent final warning (one that mentions that the user may be blocked) and they have recently vandalized after that warning was given. The reported user has not yet been blocked because it appears this has not occurred yet. If this user continues to vandalize even after their final warning, please report them to the AIV noticeboard again. Thanks.

Submarines[edit]

Howzit Impi! I see S102, SAS CHARLOTTE MAXEKE, S103, SAS QUEEN MODJADJI, and SAS MANTHATISI (S101 ??) (sorry for the shouting, cut'n'paste). I leave you to do the fixup, the page was on your watchlist already .. Wizzy 12:45, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use picture in userspace[edit]

A fair use image on your user page, user talk page, or elsewhere in your userspace [[:Image:HawkMk120.jpg]], has been removed in order to comply with copyright law. Fair use images can only be used in articles and nowhere else on Wikipedia.
Please do not replace it, and thank you for your cooperation.
For further information, see the User page guidelines.

1990 or 1994[edit]

Hi Impi, I've changed it back to 1994 as I feel this is a much more significant endpoint than De Klerk's speech in 1990, but this is debatable. Perhaps the problem is that "start date" and "end date" are too simplistic, and the opening sentence needs ot be improved. See Talk:History of South Africa in the apartheid era. CASA C-101 image[edit]

Hi Impi - long time no see :) I'm just wondering about this image that you uploaded some years ago now. You tagged it to say "The copyright holder allows anyone to use it for any purpose", but this is incompatible with EADS' policy as stated here. I'm hoping that you have some record that can show that their policy has changed between then and now, since I don't want to lose the picture! Cheers --Rlandmann 20:33, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Impi. An automated process has found and removed a fair use image used in your userspace. The image (Image:2sqn.gif) was found at the following location: User:Impi/sandbox. This image was removed per criterion number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image was replaced with Image:Example.jpg, so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. Please find a free image to replace it with. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 00:24, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Elite Seven[edit]

I can't find any online source. I just added it when I created all the school pages. - Raker 16:10, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Impi,

I see you're on a wikibreak, but if you need to procrastinate, check out the amazingly deceptive article on "Separate Development". Like WTF is with these people, eh? --Slashme 06:08, 23 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cuito Cuanavale[edit]

Perhaps you can assist in what looks like borderline vandalism on the page. I think it is in reality a user--Timpis--who doesn't know or doesn't care to engage in discussion over the battle preferring to edit to put forth his own political agenda. Thanks for any assistance. FAR[edit]

Johannesburg has been nominated for a featured article review. Articles are typically reviewed for two weeks. Please leave your comments and help us to return the article to featured quality. If concerns are not addressed during the review period, articles are moved onto the Featured Article Removal Candidates list for a further period, where editors may declare "Keep" or "Remove" the article from featured status. The instructions for the review process are here. Reviewers' concerns are here. Epbr123 18:43, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Impi. I was the editor that left that sandbox on the talk page. I'd like to expand the SAA page with more structural info, including if possible some more history of 7, 8, and 9 Divisions and the current structure, but have little info. Do you have a copy of Army Vision 2020 you could send me? Can't find it anywhere on the Net. Cheers and thanks, Buckshot06 20:24, 8 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unspecified source for Image:16sqnbadge.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:16sqnbadge.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 15:37, 5 September 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. OsamaKBOT 15:37, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
