Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Wikipedia:Article wizard. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. The article Kash Gauni has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Does not pass WP:CREATIVE

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Final block warning[edit]

In several cases, you have edited Wikipedia:Article wizard causing problems and we've asked you to stop.

If you are trying to create new articles, you are welcome to use the Article Wizard. But don't press "edit" or "edit source" there. Go to that page, and press on "Write an article now (for new users)" when you want to create a new article.

I presume your errors were good faith errors, but they are causing signficant problems.

If you continue to make such changes you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. The page you have been damaging is an important part of the editing process for many users. This is your final warning. --j⚛e deckertalk 14:58, 24 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Kash Gauni for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Kash Gauni is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kash Gauni until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Hasteur (talk) 15:41, 24 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

How to conduct a defence at WP:AFD[edit]

There is no way of arguing to keep an article with rhetoric. You need to be certain of two things:

  1. That the article is notable and the notability has been asserted within it
  2. The references are present from significant coverage about the entity, and independent of it, and in WP:RS please. See WP:42

If the second is absent but the first is present, seek the right references, add them, and announce in a Comment at the deletion discussion page that you have done so, and ask that editors look again becuase the article's references have been improved substantially.

There are many arguments to avoid. Key are:

Indeed avoid all arguments that are not policy based.

Note that the closing admin (usually an admin) will weigh the arguments against policy, but will not check the article itself, except to weigh the arguments, not to have an opinion on the article itself in case they are accused of wielding a supervote. The arguments are thus important, but must be policy based.

Editors here absolutely do not care about the fact that something deserves an article, or for similar arguments. They genuinely want articles to be written abut anyone and anything notable, and they want to see quality of referencing and notability. Because of that they also want article that do not meet the quality required to be improved or deleted.

I hope this helps you to understand what is going on. Fiddle Faddle 19:29, 24 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, User:DanVanKant/sandbox[edit]

Hello DanVanKant. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "sandbox".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|User:DanVanKant/sandbox}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. TKK! bark with me! 02:17, 15 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
