Hi, I'm Dave. And I'm new to editing Wikipedia.

Links[edit]

Hi Dave, and thanks for your message on my talk page. I deleted the link because it looked like a commercial website to me, and wikipedia's guidelines about external links include not linking to "manufacturers, suppliers, or customers." As I database, however, you might be right that it has some value in the articles. I would suggest you have a read through the external links guidelines here: WP:EL and then if you still think it is a link that should be included, suggest it on the article's talk page - wikipedia works by consensus, so as a new editor, the best thing to do you if your edit has been reverted is to discuss it and see if agreement can be reached, so thanks for starting that ball rolling! Cheers and happy wiki-editing, Melcous (talk) 23:52, 15 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Going to read policy[edit]

Thanks Melcous,

I'll be sure to read the policy and see if this sort of thing meets the guidelines. If the TSB Database link won't work directly for those articles do you think it's doable to to add a citation and reference that to the database.

-Look forward to hearing back from you
