File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Kaitlyn as Divas Champion.jpeg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Kaitlyn as Divas Champion.jpeg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NiciVampireHeart 04:54, 15 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

January 2013[edit]

Hello, I'm NiciVampireHeart. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Mercedes KV, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. NiciVampireHeart 10:44, 26 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:SashaBanksNXT.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. File permission problem with File:EmmaWWENXT.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:EmmaWWENXT.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Mosmof (talk) 04:32, 16 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Help[edit]

Can someone put a picture of The Chickbusters, a recent Kaitlyn pic,a recent picture of the Funkadactyls, a recent pic of Audrey Marie, & one of Sasha Banks. Also could someone check this page for me? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/The_Funkadactyls

Edit[edit]

Please, stop changing my edition in The Funkadactyls. I explaines to Miss X Factor, they arent' notable as a tag team, they are notable because are the valets of brodus clay. They have only two or three matches in weekly shows, no notable. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 15:38, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If you read the page 1st of all they have had ore matches than that. Secondly, they were a team before Brodus Clay, & Third, having a WrestleMania match IS noticeable. --DJ8946 (talk)
Again, no. Stop to editing, because you don't know what is a notable article. You can't create an article based in a WM match. Minor weekly matches doesn't count to make notable a tag team. I don't want to start a war edition or reported you for vandalism, but this is the second time in two days that I explain why the article isn't notable. | 21:06, 1 April 2013 (UTC)
Why don't I report you for vandalism? 1st of all this page wasn't created based on WrestleMania. It was being made before they started their feud with The Bella Twins. Secondly nobody has counted weekly matches as being notable. I said they were notable for having a match a WrestleMania. I am wasting my time going back & forth with you because you just twist my words to make it seem like I'm wrong. --DJ8946 (talk)

April 2013[edit]

Your recent editing history at The Funkadactyls shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. STATic message me! 16:12, 2 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You nominated this article for deletion, but the AFD link went to the AFD for the Chickbusters, and this article wasn't mentioned there near as I can tell. Accordingly, I've removed the AFD tag. If you do wish to nominate this article for deletion, give me a rationale and I'll do it or follow the steps at WP:AFDHOWTO. Best, UltraExactZZ Said ~ Did 12:35, 4 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation[edit]

Thank you for your recent submission to Articles for Creation. Your article submission has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. Please view your submission to see the comments left by the reviewer. You are welcome to edit the submission to address the issues raised, and resubmit once you feel they have been resolved.

Edit war on The Funkadactyls[edit]

Hello. You appear to be involved in an edit war on The Funkadactyls.

While the three-revert rule is hard and fast, please be aware that you can be blocked for edit warring without making 3 reverts to an article in 24 hours. You are not entitled to 3 reverts and edit wars may be slow-moving, spanning weeks or months. Edit wars are not limited to 24 hours.

If you are unclear how to resolve a content dispute, please see dispute resolution. You are expected to cooperatively engage other editors on talk pages rather than reverting their edits. Note that posting your thoughts on the talk page alone is not a license to continue reverting. You must reach consensus.

If you feel your edits might qualify as one of the small list of exceptions, please apply them with caution and ensure that anyone looking at your edits will come to the same conclusion. If you are uncertain, seek clarification before continuing. Quite a few editors have found themselves blocked for misunderstanding and/or misapplying these exceptions. Often times, requesting page protection or a sockppuppet investigation is a much better course of action.

Continued edit warring on The Funkadactyls or any other article may cause you to be blocked without further notice. Toddst1 (talk) 22:04, 5 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on The Chickbusters, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Feedback 01:20, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on The Chickbusters requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion process. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's discussion directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please contact the administrator who deleted the page or use deletion review instead of recreating the page.

Let me be clear - recreating that article is disruptive. If you do it again, you will be blocked. Toddst1 (talk) 02:38, 7 April 2013 (UTC) & I assume if The Funkadactyls gets redirected the they get block?[reply]

NXT Women's Championship[edit]

Can I create a page for it since it was confirmed this week at Fan Axxess? Or should I wait until they crown a champion?

Harassment - final warning[edit]

I strongly recommend you re-evaluate how you interact with folks here very carefully. Your recent badgering [1] of Malik Shabazz (talk · contribs) is just plain disruptive. You are well aware of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Chickbusters and exactly why it was deleted. You are about > < this close to being blocked for general, protracted disruption of this project. I'm not going to warn you again. Toddst1 (talk) 13:57, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Above it said in order to get it undeleted or to see why it was deleted was to ask him. Thats what I did! Your blaming me for harassment for asking a simple question. Wouldn't that be harassment?! --DJ8946 (talk)DJ8946 (talk) 14:12, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
You didn't ask him anything. Toddst1 (talk) 14:13, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Well I made a statement said that the page was notable. How is that harassment? Did I insult him? No. Did I change anything on his page besides saying that statement? No. If making a statement is harassment then what are you doing? --talkDJ8946 (talk) 14:17, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
If you want to make the case that the close of the AFD was incorrect, then do it. Snarking sour-grapes at an administrator cleaning up after your recreation of the article against policy (disruption) isn't the way to do it. Toddst1 (talk) 14:19, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Well maybe I would if we even got the chance to have a conversation. But nooooooooo Im harassing him from what you say. Did he say it was harassment or are you just on my case? --DJ8946 (talk)DJ8946 (talk) 14:22, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I'm on your case about a pattern of disruption from edit-warring, to recreating community-deleted articles and non-constructive comments on the re-deleting admin's talk page. You are welcome to contribute constructively but this childish nonsense will stop one way or another. Toddst1 (talk) 15:28, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
You have been blocked for disruptive editing: Specifically continuing to badger administrators for actions that are patently obvious. Since you participated in this discussion you are well aware of why it was deleted. You are either being deliberately disruptive or there is a serious issue of WP:COMPETENCE here. Either way, you have been blocked for 72 hours.

Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions, but if this behavior continues you will be re-blocked for a much longer period of time, perhaps indefinitely. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Toddst1 (talk) 13:15, 16 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Uh, I'm pretty sure this is harassment. I asked him why it was deleted because I had proposed something in te talk page of The Funkadactyls & in the discussion for deletion & I was waiting for someone to respond to it. If you knew what I had proposed you would know why I asked why it was deleted. --DJ8946 (talk)DJ8946 (talk)DJ8946 (talk) 23:40, 16 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/The Funkadactyls, a page you created, has not been edited in 6 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 02:10, 6 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Reliable sources and notable content[edit]

Hi DJ8946! I can tell that you are editing in good faith and have contributed much to articles on females wrestlers, however there are certain regulations and procedures that I feel you should follow to improve the quality of the articles and its content.

Firstly I would like to point you to what WP:PW considers reliable sources for wrestling articles. Any statement that we make in an article needs to be sourced, preferably from a secondary source, and we need reliable sources, not just any blog written by any wrestling fan. Stick to the sources mentioned in the style guide like PWTorch.com or slam.canoe.ca. Any source not mentioned in the style guide is automatically considered unreliable (unless they happen to be from mainstream news websites like The Mirror or The Sun etc) That means sources like bleacherreport / cagesideseats / diva-dirt is unreliable and can be removed at any time. If you wish to add a source at the style guide, propose it in a new discussion at WT:PW.
Secondly, we must note not to add week-by-week info. (Especially WWE) wrestlers wrestle a lot of meaningless matches that don't deserve mention in Wikipedia. If we were to list every single appearance by a wrestler, then there would be way too much content. General rule of thumb: only add the information if the wrestler is involved in a championship feud, or at least a storyline feud.

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Kaitlyn (wrestler) may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 21:00, 10 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I was coming here to explain to you about reliable sources, but I see others have tried. I'll make it really simple: stick to the sources listed at WP:PW/SG#Sources, specifically those in the first section "Websites proven reDJ8946(talk)iable". Anything else is not reliable, and should not be used, especially in the biographies of living people. I'm also noting here for the record that continuing disruption by persistently disregarding advice and policy may result in you being blocked from editing. NiciVampireHeart 14:22, 5 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I understand that I need to change some sources but WrestleView is stated as being a reliable source which is a source for many of my added moves. So wouldn't you deleting something with a reliable source be a disruption? DJ8946(talk)

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at The Bella Twins, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. I've told you to stop disrupting wikipedia. Signature moves requires multiple reliable sources. You can't say a move is signature and only provide a single source that states they've used it. That proves thy've done it once. In addition, "Natalya" is spelled with a t; it's not "Naalya", the Bella Buster is already listed, and that source makes no mention of an "Argentine backbreaker". I suggest you cop-on, and fast, because I'm really tired of repeating myself in edit summaries. NiciVampireHeart 14:23, 8 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This warning is irrelevant to me because I was in the process of adding sources when you changed my original edit. That's not vandalism. You didn't even give me time to add the sources. I've followed all the rules & if you say I haven't again I will be reporting you. DJ8946(talk)

Re:[edit]

Neither source stated "Argentine backbreaker". That was obvious WP:SYNTH on your part. If you can find a reliable source that actually says Argentine backbreaker, by all means add it back in. As for the Bella buster, it's already listed in the article. It's the first move in the In wrestlign section. It doesn't need to be listed twice, it's highly redundant, not to mention utterly and spectacularly pointless. I really could not give a damn what you are or are not "fed up with". As for your accusation of "unprofessionalism"? I think you missed your true calling in life as a comedian. NiciVampireHeart 23:58, 9 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello DJ8946. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "The Funkadactyls".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/The Funkadactyls}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 03:03, 20 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
