Louisiana Creole People[edit]

how is it repetitive?

I think you could look at the "Caribbean Air" section and see that locations like Haiti and the D.R. are mentioned as places where Creoles can trace their ancestry to... and the whole topic of mixtures is addressed throughout the article, even in the introduction. The more important issue is that it's entirely unsourced. We can't say stuff like "It is fairly and obviously well known that Lousianna Creoles are of a mixed descent." Why? That's just like saying why something is the way it is by saying, "just 'cause." The grammar, as well as some of the typographical issues just made it seem like it wouldn't be worth keeping in the article (because we'd have to rework it pretty thoroughly right off the bat). I've been involved with the article for a while, along with the list of Creoles - if it's any surprise, I'm Creole - and I've really just been annoyed by the extensive issues with sourcing that we've had in the last few months. You can read about my more general concerns in the talk section of the Louisiana Creole people article. Défenseur
