Orphaned fair use image (Image:Swindlejeffreestar.gif)
Thanks for uploading Image:Swindlejeffreestar.gif. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BigDT 22:22, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

Notability of TigerHeat
A tag has been placed on TigerHeat, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Replying to your comment on my page Lets have a look at what you're saying-
Stripes is a popular hair style amongst southern california youth.
- Do you have proof for this, references that say that this is a popular hair style?
If you were to ever visit San Diego I guarantee you will see someone with stripes in there hair.
- Yes, and there is a fantastic probability that I'll find pretty much every other hairstyle I want to find, which by itself does not mean that the said hairstyle is in any way worth mentioning in an encyclopedia.
So please do your research before you start adding notability tags on pages and be sure to read the rules about notability tags before you start tossing them on pages.
- I assure you, I have read the rules about notability tags. As for research, I'm afraid thats something you are supposed to do before adding content to an article.
I'd like to point out that the article doesnt give any examples of notable people who wear their hair in that style. Names of celebrities and photos of their hair would add credibility to what has been written there.
Since you believe that it is so popular, I suggest you add it to the list of hairstyles on the page Hairstyle. That page needs a cleanup anyway, and its hard to make that list any worse than it already is.

Metropolitan area
Do not combine population from Mexico into United States articles. Those metropolitan areas are defined by the US Census with population for areas within the United States only. If you have a response, reply here on your talk page instead of mine. —RJN 03:12, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
