  Hey Marquel, I've been looking at other topics for us to take on instead of "Cop in the Hood". What do you think about Asset Forfeiture? It's only got about two or three sentences. I think this would be an easy one to build up and gives us a lot of avenues to pursue. Read it and tell me what you think. If there are any others your thinking of let me know. 

I'll just share my ideas about an outline for Asset Forfeiture and where we could start. 1) There's no date to when Asset Forfeiture was enacted and authorized.

                                                                                        2) None of the limitation are mentioned to Asset Forfeiture or if there are any.
                                                                                        3) We could find sources stating that the drug war contributed to the birth of Asset Forfeiture
                                                                                        4) It doesn't mention where the Assets go after they are confiscated.
                                                                                        5) We could find states that have the highest or lowest cases involving Asset Forfeiture.
                                                                                        6) We could talk about what kinds of property can be confiscate and what reasons justify it.
                                                                                        7) We could find out if individuals can ever regain possession of their property after it has been confiscated due to Asset Forfeiture.                                                8) We could see if some states don't allow Asset Forfeiture (if any) and what states do. 
                                                                                        9) We could find what departments confiscated the most in value due to Asset Forfeiture. 
                                                                                       10) Or if there even needs to be an arrest made in order to perform an Asset Forfeiture.

Organizing your user page

You might want to organize your user page by adding a new section entitled, "Pages I'm editing" and then putting the internal link to the Wikipedia page in that section. To do so, go to your user page, click the "New Section" tab at the top right of the page. In the body of the section, click the icon to insert a link and just type the name of the page you're working on. After a second or two, you should see a message that says "Page Exists" which means that it found the Wikipedia page and will create an internal link to it. Revise formatting of sources on talk page

You and/or Cameronpage25 need to revise the formatting of the references posted on the article's talk page. I'd suggest cutting what's there and then just retyping the references in the same format as you would on a bibliography. Profmwilliams (talk) 17:41, 4 October 2014 (UTC)
