A tag has been placed on The Halo CE Chronicles, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because it is an article about a certain website, blog, forum, or other web content that does not assert the importance or significance of that web location. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles, as well as notability guidelines for websites. Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on Talk:The Halo CE Chronicles. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

Another thing to consider is that "Halo CE Chronicles" gets only 61 unique hits, when filtering out the official site, suggesting it has gotten relatively little external notice in reliable sources, especially considering this is an almost solely web-distributed medium.--Drat (Talk) 10:40, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You know, in my days, they'd pretty much just say "Screw it, jump right in - the water's fine, the more experienced folks will advise you if you mess up." I've got the tiny mop picture on my user page and I don't know nearly all of that stuff. --Kizor 01:34, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:The Halo CE Chronicles harrington.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:The Halo CE Chronicles harrington.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. — TKD::Talk 06:36, 9 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image:The Halo CE Chronicles opening.jpg is also similarly orphaned. — TKD::Talk 06:37, 9 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about that, an emergency came up while I was typing a reason. --Kizor 22:51, 1 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No problem, after rereading it, the section is not as bad as I thought. I was comparing it to the Simpsons Movie, which spent a great deal of effort to keep the plot detail as small as it did. The problem here is not so much bloat, but too much plot :> Ccs4ever 22:54, 1 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, you make a very good point. It seems that the writers crammed in every idea they could think of, so giving any kind of satisfactory account will have to take more space than with a more straightforward work of equal length - and that's without the bonus that the story is centered around time travel, which practically ensures that it's twistier than Merlin's predestined, self-creating beard. --Kizor 01:31, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
