Lasana M. Sekou[edit]

Hello CaribbeanTongue. I saw your misplaced request for help on the reference desk and, although I am not the one who tagged that article, I have a couple of suggestions for improvement. Mind you, I don't think the article is bad as is but it could read better. My suggestions include breaking up the somewhat tedious biography section and trying to reduce the number of list like sentences. Right now, there are various seemingly related statements scattered throughout the biography section. Try to group these related statements into smaller subsections such as "awards", "reviews", "works", "influence", etc. Also, it would read better if it were written more prose like with fewer lists. Try to incorporate the lists into sentences and paragraphs which make the text flow logically and easily for the reader. That's my two cents worth and it might not be worth that. After you believe you have addressed the reasons for the tag, just remove it and see if it stands. By the way, good work on the references -- they look very good. Happy editing.
