November 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to George Julian Zolnay, did not appear to be constructive and has been removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. No, actually my contribution hasn't "been removed". YOU removed it. So why not say so? Why hiding behind a template? Why not simply saying "I removed your edits because I don't like them and I don't like freedom of speech". That would have been a lot more sincere, if you ask me ...

And let me remind you one thing: you still haven't furnished any sources for your preposterous claims! I'm still waiting!

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to George Julian Zolnay. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Sterp (talk) 00:43, 22 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop hiding behind templates. Stop the edit war. Let the author and a third party editor do their jobs.
The third party is not supposed to impose a certain version of the article. He is suppose to intervene and seek truce, by talk, between two users engaged in an edit war, like the two of us are. However, while participating in an edit war, these user still have to oblige to the rules of Wikipedia (like WP:3RR for example). I know I do. You don't seem to. So, for your own good, take care about the rules. Sterp (talk) 01:08, 22 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What exactly bothers you?[edit]

I'm willing to talk, but you don't seem to want to accept a middle way. For example, from what I see in your last edit, you want to add the information according to which Zolnay was born in Pecs, yet by doing this you complete ignore the fact that sources vary in regard to his birthplace. By ignore, I mean you remove. I'm sorry, but that consitutes vandalism, either you like it or not. Third warning[edit]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at George Julian Zolnay, you will be blocked from editing. Sterp (talk) 01:00, 22 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

3RR[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution.

Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 01:30, 22 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 12 hours in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for violating the three-revert rule at George Julian Zolnay. Please be more careful to discuss controversial changes or seek dispute resolution rather than engaging in an edit war. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. CIreland (talk) 01:32, 22 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
