Hey Briana! My name's Anthony. I believe we've never met. I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the possibilities for making our "democracy" more "representative"!

Article Choices[edit]

1. Criticisms of electoral politics
I'd like to reorganize the criticisms so that there is a section for ideologies and for prominent thinkers (mostly based off of what we have read in class). There also seems to be a conflation of representative democracy and democracy as a general term, which I would like to address. The information already there also needs revising and citations. I will maintain the focus on the Western hemisphere.

2. Criticism of democracy
This article needs additional citations and edits to the phrasing of the content already there. I will focus on the sociological, political and philosophical criticisms in the article--adding to some, editing others and completely deleting and replacing certain sections. I will also add a lot to the introduction.

3. Voter fatigue
Most of my changes to this article will deal with sectioning it off and connecting it to other relevant pages. There are also a lot of citations that need to be made!

Assignment Article[edit]

Criticisms of electoral politics
I've posted my outline of changes to the Talk page and look forward to posting a detailed bibliography soon. I can't figure out how to assign myself this article on the course page so I wrote my choice here!
