Advertising[edit]

Please do not post advertising, as you did at Wikipedia talk:Wikipedia as a press source 2007. This is considered spam. -- John Broughton (♫♫) 01:43, 11 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Interesting stuff, but it needs to be more balanced. Every line should have a reference. Only including material to show a precipitous decline is essentially an editorial, a gloomy economic forecast, not an encyclopedia, which is what WP is all about. I used to think negatively, but after reading much, my (POV) is that the entire world is on a worldwide economic boom, and while there will be dislocations, adjustments, temporary setbacks, and such, overall the economic outlook looks strong if you look at ten years, twenty years down the line. Nobody can say for sure whether a recession will happen, but regardless -- please follow WP's rules like we all must do.--Tomwsulcer (talk) 02:22, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Thermite. While objective prose about beliefs, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Wizard191 (talk) 00:37, 2 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
