deletion tags[edit]

When you ;list an article for deletion, it is required that you say so in the edit summary, to help us overworked admins find the edit in the edit history when we consider deletion. It is also good practice to notify the originator of the article

When you tag a page for deletion, if you reload the page, you will find a section on the delete template which says something along the lines of:

Please consider placing the template:
{{subst:nn-warn|Dj slyce|header=1}} ~~~~
on the talk page of the author. Copy the template and paste it onto the user talk page of the creator of the article.

If you use Twinkle, you will find a check box for this, which is even easier.

If you need any help with this please don't hesitate to ask me.

Noted. will do, if I ever mark an article for deletion again. :)boombaard (talk) 14:17, 18 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
