Information icon Hello, I'm Cordless Larry. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Manu Kumar Srivastava, but you didn't provide a reliable source. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Cordless Larry (talk) 07:34, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Mr. Larry, There was no question about notability for the person about whom the page is made. Mr. Manu Kumar Srivastava is the highest administrative officer in the Indian bureaucracy and the Chief Secretary for the state of Maharashtra in India. Hence it was reversed. I and also the person who made the page have given notable citations for the information put on the article. BigGenie (talk) 07:39, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Dear Mr. Larry, its can be further. clarified over https://supremo.nic.in/ERSheetHtml.aspx?OffIDErhtml=MTQ4MDk=&PageId= BigGenie (talk) 07:47, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Then please explain why you think he is notable on the article's talk page rather than reverting the addition of the template without explanation. Cordless Larry (talk) 07:55, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Okay thanks for all the guidance and help... Should I start a topic on the my talk page or the articles talk page? BigGenie (talk) 07:57, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Other account?[edit]

Hi, BG! Is User:Hitoodesai another account you've used? Valereee (talk) 11:49, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Yes it was made but have stopped using it.. Hitoodesai (talk) 12:03, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You're literally using it right now. For heaven's sake. Valereee (talk) 12:17, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed I used it only couple of times when I received an email notification regarding the deletion request for the image on the Wikimedia and replied to the deletion request... and on my phone I was logged on using that account, so I don't remember but may have done some couple of edits through phone. I have not advocated any suck-puppetry using these accounts. However I am wanting to delete the hitoodesai account, so that all this confusion is avoided. BigGenie (talk) 07:56, 8 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Deletion of accounts is not possible. If you want to edit again you will need to follow the instructions in the notice in the section below. Dreamy Jazz talk to me | my contributions 08:22, 8 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked as a sockpuppet[edit]

Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively as a sockpuppet of User:Hitoodesai per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Hitoodesai. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
