re: Your request on my talk page.[edit]

Who do you think you are asking *me* to help *you* do something? You think I'm sort of a slave to you? I'm kidding. Glad to keep in touch with you, old buddy old pal. Sorry, but I don't even know who Rabbi Yechiel Weinberg, so I can't really help you. Why don't you try working on Tu Bishvat, as it is ענינא דיומא since it's coming up soon. If you are looking for the link to my blog, see [2]. Peace out, send regards to my pals in ToMo (Daniel Cohen, Yossi Winter, Reuven Gidanian, the whole gang). I have a a tisch tonight with the Stropkover Rebbe shilita. Good to hear from you. --רח"ק | Talk | Contribs 03:15, 28 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Jewish Star of Jealousy[edit]

Hello! You have been randomly chosen to be awarded the Jewish Star of Jealousy.

A Barnstar!
This is a self-awarded award awarded to anyone who feels so jealous that he has no awards that he had to award himself a self-awarded award to make his award section on his User Page look good. He also wants to see how many times in one sentences he can use the word "award" (last sentence was seven). If you feel jealous of others who prominently display their awards in their wiki User page, you can contribute productively to the all-knowing Wikipedia and hope that someone notices your hardwork and awards you an award. Or you can drop a message on my TALK passage and ask for a Jewish Star of Jealousy at which point the joint council of the Learned Elders of Zion and the Jedi Council will consider inducted you into the Jewish Star of Jealousy Hall of Fame which would give you the right to legally display your Jewish Star of Jealousy award in your very own Wikipedia User Page. I may also decide to randomly award this award to people or bots.--רח"ק

J. Edgar Hoover[edit]

There's a discussion of the succession box in the article's talk page; I gave my reasons for thinking the box made no sense there. I'f you'd like to add to that discussion, please feel free. RedSpruce 09:38, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Rubinstein amnon.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Rubinstein amnon.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 20:05, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for File:WTO First Ministerial Conference.jpg}[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:WTO First Ministerial Conference.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check:

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's escription page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Harriet harris[edit]

Thanks for your contributions. I have, however, reverted your addition of a non-free photo to Harriet Sansom Harris. Fair use (non-free) images are considered replaceable for identifying living people, per Wikipedia:Non-free content#Unacceptable use, Images - Item 12. Thanks. — TAnthonyTalk 05:41, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

August 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Oneworld, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Please refer to the Oneworld talk page. Aviator006 (talk) 23:15, 30 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The source is Wikipedia. I was just maintaining consistency. If you go to the Mexicana page you will see that it it saya "Mexicana was an airline". The airline is defunct.

A tag has been placed on File:Rubinstein amnon.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only," "non-derivative use" or "used with permission," it has not been shown to comply with the limited standards for the use of non-free content. [3], and it was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19, or is not used in any articles. If you agree with the deletion, there is no need to do anything. If, however, you believe that this image may be retained on Wikipedia under one of the permitted conditions then:

  • state clearly the source of the image. If it has been copied from elsewhere on the web you should provide links to: the image itself, the page which uses it and the page which contains the license conditions.
  • add the relevant copyright tag.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.
