License tagging for Image:Mayerhorowitz.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Mayerhorowitz.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 20:06, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 3 days in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for very unpleasant vandalism to a biography of a living person. Please stop. You're welcome to make useful contributions after the block expires. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Boston (Hasidic dynasty). Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you.

Putting your personal opinions into biographies of living persons is not allowed. It is a violation of Wikipedia policy. Adding a wikilink to Narcissistic personality disorder after someone's name is not acceptable unless there is a factual citation proving that the person in question has been clinically diagnosed with that condition. -- Eliyahu S Talk 22:03, 7 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Notification of automated file description generation[edit]

Your upload of File:Bostonertischbeitar.jpg or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks! Message delivered by Theo's Little Bot (opt-out) 14:01, 18 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Another one of your uploads, File:Chusterbp.JPG, has also had some information automatically added. If you get a moment, please review the bot's contributions there as well. Thanks! Message delivered by Theo's Little Bot (opt-out) 14:44, 6 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Notice

The file File:Bostoner Rebbe.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:01, 1 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
