ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open![edit]
Hello, Astrojan. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. Image added to Peanut allergy[edit]
Please consider reverting the addition of a protein image to the peanut allergy article. In my opinion it adds nothing to the value of the article (ara h 3 isn't even the major allergen). None of the other food allergy articles have protein images (please don't add there either). Thank you. David notMD (talk) 12:36, 29 November 2017 (UTC)
- The authors mentioned Ara h 3 is a major peanut allergen here, but I'm not an expert so probably you know better even if I've made this model directly for this wiki page.

- Ara h 3 is an allergenic protein, just not the major one. More to the point, in an article about peanut allergy as a disease, a protein structure diagram adds nothing, and is distracting. Ways to improve Methyltransferase/kinase WbdD[edit]
Hi, I'm Nick Moyes. Astrojan, thanks for creating Methyltransferase/kinase WbdD!
I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Please set the scene more effectively for the non-specialist reader with a better lead statement. In what type of organelle, cell or organism-type is this enzyme active? The only clue is in the page category - and that's not where we expect readers to look. Please use wikilinks to aid understanding. Start simple, then get technical later is the best approach to take, if you know what I mean.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.
