The article Shaikh Basheer Ahmed Mohiuddin has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Removing AfD template[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Malik Deenar Uroos. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. This is an automated message from a bot about this edit, where you removed the deletion template from an article before the deletion discussion was complete. If this message is in error, please report it. Snotbot  t • c »  12:51, 24 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for October 25[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Nagore Shahul Hamid, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Pratap Singh (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Adding external links[edit]

Hi. I've undone your addition of an external link at Darul Huda Islamic University because it is simply a diffferent domain that points to the exact same web site. There is no need to list every domain that the university uses. -- Whpq (talk) 11:10, 29 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Samastha Kerala Islamatha Vidyabasa Board requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. naveenpf (talk) 13:15, 29 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

November 2012[edit]

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. The article Darussalam Islamic Academy has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unknown institute, lacks wiki general notablity criteria

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Thank you for your contributions. Please remember to mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Arab Spring, as "minor" only if they truly are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. Jeancey (talk) 06:31, 28 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Ashrafnlkn. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Literature review on Jasmine revolution, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, Skrelk (talk) 07:54, 28 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Literature review on Jasmine revolution, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an acceptable page. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item G11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this page is not blatant advertising, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. You are welcome to edit the page to fix this problem, but please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. As well as removing promotional phrasing, it helps to add factual encyclopaedic information to the page, and add citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the page will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 11:15, 29 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

The page Cherussery Aboobacker has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the content of the page appeared to be purely promotion of something or someone, and was unlikely to be suitable for an article (or at best would need a fundamental rewrite). Wikipedia is not a medium for promotion of anything, whether a company, product, group, service, person, religious or political belief, or anything else. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item G11, as well as the guidelines on spam. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

  • I see that more than once you have re-created an article which has been deleted as the result of consensus at a deletion discussion, the re-created article being either identical or virtually identical to the deleted one. Wikipedia works by collaboration and consensus, and individual editors who ignore consensus among other editors and unilaterally repeat editing which has been decided to be unsuitable are considered disruptive. Please don't continue to do this; if you do, an administrator may block you from editing. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk)

Bahauddeen Muhammed Nadwi moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Bahauddeen Muhammed Nadwi, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 14:31, 9 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Bahauddeen Muhammed Nadwi, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. You have an obvious conflict of interest, please don't write about yourself, your friends or relatives and read the guidance below:

  • When you write about a person, you must provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that they meet the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the person or an associated organisation, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the person claims or interviewing them. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls.
  • You must write in a non-promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic, with verifiable facts, not opinions or reviews.
  • There shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections.
  • You must not copy text from elsewhere. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. We require that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial; text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.

Before attempting to write an article again, please make sure that the topic meets the notability criteria linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources. Also read Your first article. You must also reply to the COI request above.

Your text was promotional in tone, as was your request on my talk page, and completely unreferenced, It was posted in one edit without wikilinks or references and looks as if it is a copyright violation. It was previously deleted by a deletion discussion too. Sir, I have gone through the issues that you have raised on the page I published earlier. I admit that the number of references I cited are lesser. But the person on whom page has created has good reputation as academician and has won many awards for his scholarship. There are enough references (mostly the link of newspapers) that testify my argument. I want to invite your kind attention that he is not my relative and this page is not meant for publicity. It is an humble request that please restore page at earliest so that I can supplement enough references. Ashrafnlkn (talk) 04:37, 12 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I am taking into cosideration what ever you have raised as the serious issues in this page and am ready to supplement enough references with credibilty that you are asking. Acutally, Dr. Nadwi is renowned and among the links that i have given, there are enough reliable informations, which are unbiased and authentic. Some of them are the link to newspaper pages which are writtern in Malayalam language. If you want, i am ready to translate those pages in other than English language. For improving the page, i kindly request you to restore the page. Ashrafnlkn (talk) 12:05, 11 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Mujeeb Jaihoon[edit]

Hello Ashrafnlkn,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Mujeeb Jaihoon for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Dear Madam/ Sir,
I have been blocked from contributing to Wikipedia after uploading an article on Mujeeb Jaihoon. I used some of the citations, which turned to be not reliable. I haven't committed this mistake intentionally. I have learnt the seriousness of this act. Actually, Mr. Mujeeb Jaihoon is a notable person from Kerala, India and widely acknowledged for his contribution towards the mystic poetry. I can add some more citation for your kind attention (at the end of this letter). I kindly request you to lift the ban and unblock me.

Request reason:

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to you with a sincere and humble appeal to request the unblocking of my Wikipedia account, which was blocked due to a recent mistake I made while uploading an article. First and foremost, I deeply regret the error I made, and I take full responsibility for my actions. The article I attempted to upload was about a highly regarded individual who holds significance among Muslims in Kerala, India. I provided several reputable sources in support of this person's notability, as mentioned in my previous correspondence. Regrettably, I was unaware at the time that some of the citations I used turned out to be unreliable, and I genuinely apologize for this oversight. I wish to emphasize that I have been an active contributor to Wikipedia for a considerable period. I have contributed numerous articles and have made edits to existing ones, always striving to uphold the highest standards of accuracy and reliability. The mistake I made in my recent upload does not reflect my usual commitment to maintaining the integrity of the platform. I assure you that I have learned from this experience and will exercise utmost caution in the future to ensure that such errors do not recur. It is my ardent desire to resume my contributions to Wikipedia, as I strongly believe in the importance of sharing knowledge and promoting accurate information. I am genuinely committed to making valuable and constructive contributions to the community. I recognize that the trust of the Wikipedia community is crucial, and I am fully aware of the responsibility that comes with it. I kindly request your understanding and reconsideration in unblocking my account. I assure you that I have taken the time to reflect upon the reasons for my block and understand the impact it had on the Wikipedia community. I am fully committed to making amends and positively contributing to Wikipedia by ensuring that the information I provide is accurate, well-researched, and reliable. I am grateful for your time and consideration in reviewing my appeal. I genuinely hope that you can recognize my remorse and my sincere intention to rectify my mistake. I am ready and eager to re-engage with the Wikipedia community, applying the lessons I have learned and striving to make meaningful contributions. Once again, I express my deepest regrets for the error I made and any inconvenience it may have caused. I sincerely hope for an opportunity to prove my dedication to the principles and values of Wikipedia. Thank you for your attention, and I eagerly await your favorable response. Yours sincerely, Ashrafnlkn Some of the links about the person i uploaded last time (and got blocked): https://www.khaleejtimes.com/uae/sharjah-inspires-indian-resident-to-pen-historical-fiction https://gulfnews.com/lifestyle/we-like-mujeeb-jaihoons-twitter-achievement-1.811153 https://mbrf.ae/en/read/the-path-to-sustainable-development/12 https://www.thehindu.com/todays-paper/tp-national/tp-kerala/tribute-to-shihab-thangal-wins-many-hearts-in-gulf/article25218061.ece https://www.muslimmirror.com/eng/italian-translation-of-slogans-of-the-sage-launched-in-dubai/ https://24.kg/english/238877_How_meeting_with_the_Kyrgyz_in_China_brought_writer_Mujeeb_Jaihoon_to_Bishkek/ https://thecompanion.in/book-review-a-modern-pursuit-of-the-mappila-identity/ Ashrafnlkn (talk) 08:47, 4 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
