Removal of most my additions to the automobile section[edit]
You deleted my comments twice in the past two weeks. Could you explain me what made you write that "most references do not support the content". The references come from certified ISO labs and have been reviewed by a reknown corrosion specialist, Professor at McGill University. I am personnally a 25 yr experience Ph.D. in electrochemistry.

- This article is about cathodic protection and the section I edited refers to cathodic protection of automobiles, which is a contentious subject. I thought the tone of the article was not neutral and focused too much on the activities of commercial companies looking to market devices intended to provide CP to automobiles. Fair enough, there has been some research into this, albeit sponsored by one of these companies and I've left that in the article. But, for example you included a citation of the procedure for salt fog testing. All this shows is that there is a procedure for testing. It doesn't support your claim that these systems work. The same for all the details about the Canadian Competition Bureau and the various correspondence between the relevant parties. All that shows is that they wouldn't be investigating the companies further. They don't validate the system, just acknowledge that there is some science behind it.
- Your original revision stated "One of them involves the application of impressed current cathodic protection (ICCP) and was developed by The Auto Saver Systems"
- The reference doesn't support this - In fact the author clearly states: "The mechanism of protection is not that of classical, impressed current cathodic protection". Furthermore, while the research shows there is an effect, there doesn't appear to be any long term trials or controlled studies on actual vehicles. When there are further studies and someone publishes an independent, peer reviewed paper that supports it, I'd be happy to edit this article accordingly.

- Can I ask you what's your background to evaluate the scientific content of the test reports? I intend to repost the integrality of my second text considering that there is real science and testing behind my statements. - Yes this is a contentious subject and that is why a full discussion and laying out of all the available science is justified. To say that the tests were run by companies, who by the way did so at the request of the Competition Bureau Canada, is not focusing too much on commercial companies, it is simply stating the facts. By the way, I note that the first section paragraph posted prior to mine goes out of its way to mention the FTC and George McReady even though there is nothing in the reference indicating that the devices sold by McReady did not work as claimed. This reference appears to have been inserted to generate a bias, but it has no scientific merit and does not belong in this section.
- Furthermore, to state that the text we seek to publish is too focused on commercial companies’ activities is ridiculous given that the overwhelming majority of all on going scientific research and development is driven by commercial interests. It is not open to you to reject scientific evidence simply because it has been achieved by the investment of private capital.
