Flag of Abkhazia[edit]

Hi, you added a quote in Greek in the edit summary, can you add the source of it as a reference (author, work, chapter)? Or just write it here if you need help with formatting. Alaexis¿question? 08:18, 30 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, behold tps://abaza.org/en/abkhazia-and-italian-city-states-a-new-book-of-the-abkhaz-scholar-chirikba AnosAnosid (talk) 14:43, 30 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. I see that he talks about the flags in the interview, but he does not explicitly describe the flag of the Abkhazia kingdom. Also, the book is about the relationship between Italian city-states and Abkhazia in the 13-15 centuries when the Kingdom of Abkhazia no longer existed. If, in spite of that, he does discuss its symbols, then please provide the page or chapter. Alaexis¿question? 15:44, 30 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
There you can see Avasgia on the kartaz, and you know that Abazgia is the Abkhazian kingdom, it just expanded the territory, I think you know about Abazgia AnosAnosid (talk) 15:51, 30 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Are you referring to Angelo Millo's map? I do see Avasgia on it but the flag is different (crescent instead of hand). (Если так удобнее, можно и по-русски). Alaexis¿question? 18:27, 30 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
no, I'm talking about the Guillelmus Soleri card. ttps://images.app.goo.gl/yv5TWrhKQ1jrijWDA AnosAnosid (talk) 18:44, 30 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
here are all the flags of Abkhazia, it is not written in English, but I think you can understand tps://images.app.goo.gl/r9F48kyZY1HCqtmG9 AnosAnosid (talk) 18:49, 30 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, so the flag from a map created c. 1380 can be (and is) used in the Duchy of Tskhumi article, and also, possibly, for the Principality of Abkhazia article. We need a source which explicitly says that the 8-10th centuries Kingdom of Abkhazia had this flag - otherwise it would be WP:OR. Unfortunately Sputnik is deprecated but a book or an article would work. Alaexis¿question? 19:47, 30 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

sorry, but they go in history about the flag of the Abkhaz kingdom with all the flags of Abkhazia, here is the article and information about the symbol of the Abkhaz kingdom https://abaza.org/en/open-palm-to-the-world-state-symbols-of-abkhaz -and-abaza AnosAnosid (talk) 21:58, 30 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It's your responsibility to provide a reliable source when you add information to an article. Your url doesn't work, I get Not Found (#404) error. Alaexis¿question? 05:42, 31 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
