Sometimes new editors find it useful to review our "five pillars", all you need to know about editing in "wiki markup", or this detailed tutorial. I'm an architectural historian, so I wrote the cathedral article very much from that point of view.

About images- images are put in place with the bracketted title XimageX:stairs|size|The stairs to the chapter house. The part that says XimageX:stairs links to a stored file at another location..

The name of the image sometimes doesn't relate to the subject matter very welll and may sometimes be completely inaccurate. But it cannot be change without losing the picture. I other words, if you change XimageX:stairs|.... to XimageX:Chapter house stairs|.... then there is no longer a picture. One can edit the title of the picture, but not the file name.
