Angemon‎[edit]

Please refrain from adding nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to Angemon. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. -- Ned Scott 22:17, 29 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

First, the Japanese and English versions of Wikipedia are about the language of the text, NOT the subjects they cover. Take a look at the articles in Category:Japan. It's not only common, but the norm to include both Japanese and English information about anime and their characters. Removing this information is considered vandalism.
Second, what you added was poorly written and badly formatted, but that's not why I removed the text. Rather, a good deal of the information repeated stuff from other parts of the article, and other parts were completely un verifiable. See Wikipedia:Verifiability, which says "The threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth.". This is a policy of Wikipedia, and it is not optional. Parts of the text you added could also be considered original research, which is not allowed per another policy, Wikipedia:No original research. Also, much of it was written with a point of view, also not allowed per Wikipedia:Neutral point of view.
Third, a set of guidelines for article structure for Digimon articles, while not as binding as a policy, have been established. A good many editors, who have formed WikiProject Digimon Systems Update, follow these guidelines for the quality of the articles, and it would be better if you bring up your issues with those editors at WT:DIGI. -- Ned Scott 20:53, 30 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
