A tag has been placed on Andy19971997, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Your edits to Oakes, ND[edit]

I see you have recently been making edits to Oakes, North Dakota. We appreciate your enthusiasm for adding material to the encyclopedia, but it needs to meet certain guidelines for notability; the addition of a store and a coffee shop is not notable. Oakes has many stores, one more is hardly significant. The pool being built is a notable fact as there was significant discussion in the city about it being built and the new hospital replacing the old one is fairly major as it is the only one in the area. I'm glad you want to improve the article, I lived in Oakes for quite a while, so I would like to see the article improve as much as you would; but please keep Wikipedia's editorial policies in mind. -AndrewBuck 23:26, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. - When making changes to the article please use the "Show preview" button to see what your changes look like rather than repeatedly saving the article with only small changes made in each step; this helps reduce clutter on the articles history page. -AndrewBuck 23:29, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
