Removal of Afd tag[edit]

Please do not remove Afd tags, as this is non useful and potentially vandalism. I have reverted your changes as the process must continue once began. Please provide reliable sources to establish notabity if that is your intent. Thanks. Ism schism (talk) 11:54, 29 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Inappropriate[edit]

Regarding your edits at Talk:Chess, please don't create multiple threads for the same topic. Furthermore, don't make racist allegations. They are unhelpful, insulting, and no one is interested. You may benefit from reviewing Wikipedia:Civility. faithless (speak) 02:00, 19 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Chess[edit]

The edit you are reinstating is incredibly poor. Chess is a featured article - before making such drastic changes to the lead, please gain consensus for such changes on the article's talk page. faithless (speak) 02:03, 19 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Its actually more appropriate than the current one. Dont make something inappropriate as lead article.Andhrabhoja (talk) 02:05, 19 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

edit war[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. Bubba73 (talk), 02:55, 19 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

February 2009[edit]

You have been temporarily blocked from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Kevin (talk) 04:12, 19 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

To be more specific, the block is for edit warring at Chess, but mostly for this and this. Personal attacks are not on, and as you pointed someone else to the policy, you evidently know that they are not. Kevin (talk) 04:14, 19 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ah! here comes another admin misuing his powers to promote Eurocentrism. The article itself is grossly misworded and you have no problems with that. So that you know, just because something is posted as lead doesn't make it right. Thanks for the high moral ground of the admins..I'm not one of those scott nobs..get off your high horse.
