August 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Julietdeltalima. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Lokma, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Julietdeltalima (talk) 16:15, 28 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Khichdi. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 17:06, 28 August 2020 (UTC

Your recent editing history at Khichdi shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
You have now been reverted by three different users who do not agree with your sourcing, the relevance of this material to this article, or your very-hard-to-understand writing style. You have the burden of justifying your edits on the article's talk page (not my talk page, not your talk page, not any other user's talk page). Why does this information belong in this article? Why is this source reliable? You bear the burden of gaining this consensus on the article's talk page before you re-introduce it. Julietdeltalima (talk) 19:20, 28 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia and copyright[edit]

Control copyright icon Hello Ahmedhamdy007, and welcome to Wikipedia. Your additions to Qatayef have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. IamNotU (talk) 01:42, 2 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Ahmedhamdy007, I've looked at your edits, and it appears that pretty much all text you have added to Wikipedia has been copied and pasted from copyrighted sources. Mostly they have been Arabic websites via Google Translate. I've had to remove all of it, and request that it be hidden from the history. This is a lot of work. Please let me know here, that you have read and understood this message, and that you won't add anymore copyrighted text. Thank you. --IamNotU (talk) 02:06, 2 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your contributed article, عرايس[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, عرايس. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Draft:Arayes_food. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Draft:Arayes_food. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at [[Talk:Draft:Arayes_food|the article's talk page]].

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. McMatter (talk)/(contrib) 02:49, 23 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
