Physical Therapy

Whether or not WHO considers PT an Allied health profession (PT is listed in that article), other major sources do. There may even be some country that doesn't, but English sources do and this is the English Wikipedia.

The editorial community here is united in maintaining this properly sourced information, so if you want to change it, you'll have to present multiple very reliable sources that contradict that view, and you'll have to do this in a discussion at the article's talk page. Until then, your edits will be treated as vandalism, and you will be blocked if you persist. You must have a consensus for making such a change.

FYI, here is an example of WHO classification of phyisiotherapists as "Allied health" personnel: "Major categories of allied health personnel are physiotherapists, occupational therapists, medical laboratory technicians,..." (p. 6)

If they aren't "allied health personnel", then what are they? They aren't alternative medicine, so what are they? -- Valjean (talk) 18:36, 7 September 2021 (UTC)

They are health care professionals and physical therapy is an independent healthcare profession NOT allied, all newer versions of WHO publications consider it as a healthcare profession Ahmedelsayedaly (talk) 01:40, 9 September 2022 (UTC)

Being "allied" health care professionals does not mean they are not "health care professionals". Please provide the RS to back your claim, and don't remove the RS that contradict your claim. This article is not limited to India or wherever you're from.
