Aston Villa edits[edit]

Hi Kyle, thanks for your note. Your updates are very welcome for the player information. A couple of notes, when you leave a message on a talk page you can sign off with four ~ symbols, this will create a link to your wiki user page and make it easy for people to respond to and to know when you made the comment (see below).

Technically any information that you add should be referenced (unless it is already referenced in the article). The info that you have added recently can largely be referenced via BBC Football for instance or other reliable sports websites (try to avoid primary sources if possible). Check out the guidance here- Wikipedia:Citing Sources. The easiest way to add a reference for websites is to click the 'Cite' link at the top right of the editing window and then select 'cite web' from the drop-down templates menu, the pop-up will then ask for the URL and title of the page you are referencing and will add the necessary reference to the article without you having to code anything in.

Hope this helps, welcome to Wikipedia!

Thanks for the tips pal, adding references are much easier with the templates. AVHolloway (talk) 13:16, 20 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
