Current events confusion[edit]

On note of advocacy for myself, if I have emitted erroneous "Current" or "Current Events" tags.

They were posted assuming good faith.

I don't remember offhand, and don't have time to retrieve the diffs. See MOS:CAPS; I think one of the capitalizations you added was for "junta", which isn't a proper name and shouldn't be capitalized. Mini apolis 19:41, 17 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Bhimashankar Temple[edit]

Hi 多多123, I know you're currently copy-editing Bhimashankar Temple but after looking at the article, I've removed several uncited sections and have tagged the "History" section as uncited. My reasons for doing so are in my edit summaries, but basically per WP:V and WP:NOT (Wikipedia isn't a travel guide). I hope the removals haven't disrupted your work but I see little point in copy-editing removable uncited and/or irrelevant content. Thanks for your work there. That's no problem, I haven't made any changes for about 2 or more hours, I will be editing it throughout the day. Would you say that it contains peacockery? Thanks Duo; I think in this context, it could be minor peacockery; neither of the sources I checked describes the temple as such. It's up to you if you want to remove the adjectives, or you could just tag the first one with {{cn}}; the section containing "elegant" is covered by the unreferenced section tag I added. It's unlikely an editor started editing solely because you welcomed them. It's best to wait until an edit is made and then provide a welcome if the edits are productive, and appropriate advice and warnings if they are not. It's a complete waste of time to add a welcome template to an account that may never be used, or may be used disruptively. Just because a draft/article is an autobiography doesn't mean it's unambiguous promotion. I think the prose looks fine. The AfC queue is there so people can get feedback; therefore, the qualifications to be speedy deleted are a bit more lax. I don't know if you have the reviewer script, but I believe a decline is much more reasonable than a G11.
