October 2012[edit]

Hello. There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you.  Mr.choppers | ✎  17:39, 24 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I would strongly advise you (the IP) to stop 'now. Your abusive language is bad enough to get you blocked, and it probably will, but using racially charged language will be the clincher. You will not get away with it, so you might as well stop digging yourself a bigger hole. AutomaticStrikeout 17:46, 24 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 3 days for attempting to harass other users. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. And please see the opening paragraph of WP:VERIFY. Just because you own the engine doesn't mean that you can change the article to what you know to be true. You need references. • Jesse V.(talk) 19:59, 24 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

November 2012[edit]

This is your only warning; if you make personal attacks on other people again, as you did at User talk:Mr.choppers, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. AutomaticStrikeout 03:49, 5 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Last attempt[edit]

I will try again: I welcome the application of what you know, but Wikipedia is not a place where you or I may just write what we know, no matter how true it is. While we do not want Wikipedia to contain untruths, it also cannot contain facts that are unsourced or unverififable. Our "job" is to provide sources. While much of Honda D engine is unsourced (for a long time, feel free to add citations for anything you happen to have available), this doesn't mean we need to add more dubious material. I don't mistrust you personally, but this is the internet - I also have no reason whatsoever to believe you, as do you have no reason to believe my statements. I take care to only add facts that are verifiable and I welcome you to do the same. Until you do, I will keep erasing your edits as they are more harm than good at this point.

In the best possible spirit,

January 2013[edit]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 month for attempting to provoke other users, not participate in discussions, and continuing tendentious editing as you did at Honda D engine. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  -- DQ (ʞlɐʇ) 03:20, 20 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Everyone--
1. I don't know how to answer to this "talk page" (there is no 'click here to leave comment' button. Hoping clicking 'edit' works). Only responding to all this because I see no other avenue.
2. Question: should my IP address (which is shared btw) be blocked / penalized because I'm not a "Wiki member" with (cue up Superman music) a User ID? I don't want to "log in". I don't want to "sign in". Is that a crime? Certain Wiki pests make it seem so.
3. It's unthinkable that so-called Wiki administrators have had my IP address blocked for vandalism. Never have I vandalized Wikipedia. How dare you! Care to investigate a matter before making such conclusions?
4. In my 5+ years of useful and respected contributions, only one user (the persistently annoying Mr.choppers) has ever touched my edits. Can someone pleeease tell me why this individual is given the benefit of doubt over me? Also, who does he work for? If you click on Mr.choppers' history (do it now) you'll see a list longer than a toilet paper roll of his behavior (ie, undo undo undo, revert revert revert, citation needed citation needed citation needed). No adult would have the time for that. Not for free. So the issue is: Who is paying him to be such a terrible nuisance? Is he an organization? Is a major corporation paying him to disrupt valid information? I'd like the Wiki community to focus the spotlight on him/them (who/whatever choppers is) for a change.
5. d15b8: it's a Honda engine. I own more than one original specimen. Yes I'm an authority on this motor. (If you can find another person who knows more, then I happily welcome his/her input!). So I'd like to ask (beg) the rest of the world to LEAVE MY EDITS ALONE. Mr.choppers and everyone else who has taken it upon themselves to get involved in this know NOTHING about this engine type. My edits are touched? I find that disturbing. Counterproductive. Ant-Wiki spirit. Reverse educational. Why would anyone bother to mess with my edits? Such dogma! (Me? I personally never stick my bamboo into other people's rice unless I have a better knowledge of chopsticks. Or rice.)
6. This is a sad chapter for Honda enthusiasts such as myself. The current atmosphere of the Honda D engine engine page is plagued by unnecessarily fastidious and/or wrong people. I cling to the hope that one day the time-wasters & vandals will dissolve, and I can resume adding information that the rest of the world either does not know about the d15b8, or is unwilling/able to provide. Internet users worldwide benefit from my editions. Pure and simple.
7. No I don't want to sit and answer to more "talk page" entries, from people who seem to have the time to waste. Not interested in responses. Don't dangle yet more volumes of rules in my face. I just want to improve the Honda engine page. Please just let me do my thing.
Once and for all, THE END. February 14, 2013.

Hey, I'm trying to figure out the ECU for the Civic CX. Do you have time to help me? I've found some info, but it seems contradictory. Thanks for your time. 74.192.84.101 (talk) 21:03, 6 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
