Please do not mark your edits as minor if they do not meet the criteria[edit]

Information icon Hi 96AMJL! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Mark L. Nelson that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. Hi, thanks to inform me the guideline of Wikipedia, will follow the guidelines. 96AMJL (talk) 15:55, 1 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

December 2023[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Tacyarg. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Richard T. Slone, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. allfamousbirthday.com, picclick.co.uk, myemail.constantcontact.com and calendarz.com are not reliable sources. Information icon Hello, I'm Tacyarg. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Madhuri Banerjee have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page Wilmot Mountain, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:

  • A "bare URL and missing title" error. References show this error when they do not have a title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 04:38, 8 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Mirrors[edit]

Information icon Thanks for contributing to the article Lawrence Douglas. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable and attributed to reliable sources. You have recently used citations which copied, or mirrored, material from Wikipedia. This leads to a circular reference and is not acceptable. Most mirrors are clearly labeled as such, but some are in violation of our license and do not provide the correct attribution. Please help by adding alternate sources to the article you edited! If you need any help or clarification, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia or ask at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page, or just ask me. Thank you. Disambiguation link notification for January 9[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detectedthat when you recently edited Arslan Naseer, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Debut. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 17:48, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Mirrors, again[edit]

As per our prior discussion, 'placeandsee' is a clearly-identified Wikipedia mirror and cannot be used as a source. Additionally, please read WP:ENGVAR then you get a chance. The spellings seemed regionally correct, and you even changed the title of a formal and sourced award. I have no idea why you would have changed 'lindenwoods' to 'lindenwood'; see [1]. Hello[edit]

I noticed you have been editing some health-related articles recently. If you're interested in that subject area, a bunch of us hang out at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Medicine, and you're welcome to join us. It's also a good place to ask questions about finding good sources for medical content or writing style. Feel free to put it on your watchlist, or stop by to say hello some time. St Laurence's GAA[edit]

Hi @96AMJL, you might have noticed that I reverted your recent edit to St Laurence's GAA.

When a page uses maintenance templates like {Use Hiberno-English|date=January 2024}, or {Use British English|date=January 2024}, British style spellings should be used.

This means that spellings like "colour", "honour", "centre", "recognised", etc. are correct and don't need copyediting.

Also on your edit to St Laurence's GAA you inserted random spaces into some place names (you changed Calverstown to Calver town for example). I don't know why you felt that was necessary but it's definitely wrong.

I'm sure you're editing in good faith, but please be careful when editing pages concerning matters you may be unfamiliar with. Boardwalk.Koi (talk) 22:02, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Citations[edit]

Please read through the reliable source guideline and be more cautious in choosing sources. Google searches are not acceptable, and neither are social media posts made from a non-official account. SounderBruce 06:13, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
