Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Antony Jameson may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Hello RAE contributor: Maybe you'd like to register an account?[edit]

Hello,

It seems that you're making contributions to Wikipedia from a computer at the RAE, and that you're linking articles on RAE fellow to the list of fellows on the RAE web site. That's all good, but as the welcome message above mentions, it may be easier to track and manage your contributions if you register a named account.

Also, when you add multiple citations to an article that point to the same source, there's a way to do this using a named reference so that you only provide the full data in the first citation and all the others refer to that. You can see how this works here: [1].

Feel free to post a message here or on my talk page if you have questions.

Cheers, Rupert Clayton (talk) 17:38, 27 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

June 2015[edit]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at Royal Academy of Engineering. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose editing privileges. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a loss of editing privileges.

I've returned the page to the state it was before you started making your unexplained edits.  —SMALLJIM  13:02, 17 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

March 2017[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm KGirlTrucker81. I noticed that you made a change to an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
