You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Trey Grayson. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. Please use the article talkpage to discuss any issues you have with the article, and to form a consensus over the appropriate way to deal with them. Thank you. As you have continued to edit-war on the Trey Grayson article, I have protected it to prevent unregistered users from editing it for a short time. If you feel that changes need to be made (and your continuing edit-warring suggests this), please take your concerns to Talk:Trey Grayson and discuss with other editors. Further edit-warring will result in prolonged blocks from editing for this IP address. Tony Fox (arf!) 16:57, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Trey Grayson is vandalizing the term Republican so it's fair game ;) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.202.190.78 (talk) 18:15, 25 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

{{unblock|That photo of Mr. Grayson is irrelevant and was added by a supporter of his political opponent. The person who added the photo also tried to add an attack website as Mr. Grayson's official campaign web page. I am simply trying to keep current, relevant information about Mr. Grayson on his wiki page. I would hope that wikipedia would frown upon political opponents attacking someone's page. It is very frustrating.}}

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

Per request. You will be reblocked without warning on the first instance of WP:TE, POV pushing or WP:EW. Toddst1 (talk) 01:55, 26 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

At first glance, your recent edits to Trey Grayson do seem to be removing disruptive material, and do not seem to warrant a block; for what it's worth, currently the page seems to be semi-protected in a repaired state, at least as far as the image and campaign link go. I am concerned, though, by this edit to Rand Paul. I don't see that it justifies a three-month block all on its own, but it does give me pause about immediately recommending an unblock in this case; you haven't made a habit of that sort of change, I hope? – Luna Santin (talk) 00:40, 26 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I made that edit. I only made it after numerous edits were made to Mr. Grayson's page. My hope was that Mr. Paul's supporters would then think twice about changing Mr. Grayson's page. They caught the edit fairly quickly and I did not change it after that. Was it wrong, yes. However, I was very upset and out of options for getting Mr. Paul's supporters to stop vandalizing Mr. Grayson's page. I understand that two wrongs do not make a right, I would happily never edit another page as long as Mr. Paul's people would stop there constant vandalism.
