St. Andrews Valley[edit]

Please stop removing St. Andrews Valley from the Newmarket, Ontario article. The course straddles the Newmarket-Aurora boundary; while its clubhouse is in Aurora, it has about 12 or 13 holes on the Newmarket side. PKT(alk) 14:18, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The address for the course is in Aurora not Newmarket therfore its an Aurora golf course.

Read the sentence. "Two golf courses exist within Newmarket's town limits." St. Andrew's Valley is within the limits of both towns. This has been discussed and settled. BTW, Silver Lakes is in East Gwillimbury. With a newmarket adress PKT(alk) 20:25, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not delete content from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to List of people from Toronto, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Removal of material[edit]

The entries from multiple lists have been removed by you with little in the way of commentary. I see with latest action that you are removing them because the people aren't "from" whatever place they are listed with. This may, or may not be true, and all of those lists could use references. However, wholesale removal without discussion is not the way to go about this. An attempt should first be made to source the material, and not just arbitrarily remove it. -- Whpq (talk) 13:52, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on List of people from Toronto. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. Whpq (talk) 13:53, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 14:52, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I reverted your edit that removed the wrestler "Test" from Whitby, Ontario, and adjusted the heading on the list to add "past and present". PKT(alk) 12:21, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sourcing![edit]

I've reverted your edit to Newmarket where you removed John Candy. A glance at his article shosw he is born there, and that fact is trivially sourceable; see [1]. -- Whpq (talk) 14:17, 31 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Original performer = original arist[edit]

Actually original performer does mean original artist, so Roger Miller should be listed. Per WP:BRD, please discuss this on the talk page instead of continually reverting. Aspects (talk) 02:14, 6 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you insist on keep chaging "Original artist" to "Original Performer", you need to discuss these changes on Talk:Crystal Bowersox instead of continually reverting my edits per WP:BRD. Aspects (talk) 23:37, 30 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Famous Canadians[edit]

Jill Hennessy grew up in Kitchener. Shania Twain and Stompin' Tom Connors both lived in Timmins or/and got their "big break" there. The lists you are removing people from are not exclusive to people born in those respective towns and cities. Most of your contributions fall into this area. Generally, people without their own article are not listed as notable people from a particular place. In that sense some of your edits are most appropriate. Please take some time to ensure a person really has no significant connexion to a place before removing them. δεʟɪʀɪοuς & ʟoςτ~нuɢѕ~ 16:42, 28 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the final warning that you will receive regarding your disruptive edits, such as this edit you made to Pickup truck. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing without further notice. JamesBWatson (talk) 17:42, 12 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
