March 2020[edit]

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Christianity and colonialism, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 07:34, 11 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Please see WP:NOR and use WP:Sandbox for transient edits. Mainframe articles should not be used for testing. Materialscientist (talk) 08:02, 11 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Materialscientist - noted re: transient edits. Do we agree the current contribution on Northern Crusades stands? If not, what is missing? As I already mentioned, there is no new research or information here. If you feel any specific information provided does not stand, please make incremental edits instead of removing an entire chapter. Wikipedia does not have enough full-time editors to make non-incremental, perfect contributions, and good-enough contributions should be accepted, especially as cross-referenced as mine.

We may not use Wikipedia articles as references. What currently stands in Northern Crusades is a sum of multiple edits, and it may change or even disappear in a minute. Hence please cite references with each non-trivial addition. Materialscientist (talk) 08:11, 11 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I see your point - just added a Stanford book as a reference. Hope that’s enough for now - first page of Google results throws up a few more books - will research them and possibly add them in the coming weeks.

Stop edit-warring on Lithuanian Crusade page. Please comment your disruptive edits. Ke an (talk) 18:13, 11 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ke an - your edits are disruptive and unexplained. If the information is wrong, please provide referenced counter factuals. Thanks. While you’re at it, take a minute to research why Lithuanian translation of the same article containing same quote has been deleted and no explanations provided. Are you in cahoots with the censors? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 211.192.49.151 (talk) 03:47, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring and IP hopping on Lithuanian Crusade[edit]

Your edit warring and IP hopping on Lithuanian Crusade page was stopped. - Ke an (talk) 17:09, 22 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

No arguments against inclusion of Pluskowski’s sourced quotation were provided. As Ke an says, discussion was “stopped” before it started. He probably means censorship?

Posted a lengthy response there focusing on the ridiculousness of claims but especially lack of any constructive edit from all (4) of the complainants here, plus their edit histories and profiles indicating a possible extreme Christian and/or right wing bias.

April 2020[edit]

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made a change to an article, List of rulers of Lithuania, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 08:54, 27 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I will provide a source when I have the time - instead of reverting you could have looked it up yourself on Google News. Any connection between your care for right-wing Lithuanian politicians, towards Wikipedia article on Lithuanian crusades, and towards Christianity and colonialism? But I’m not a conspiracy theorist, so I’ll stop my imagination at that.

Any arguments against this article being translated into Lithuanian? Still have not seen any. Correct me if I’m wrong but asking this question on your talk page got my IP banned (not that I cared or checked back).
