Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Geography =/= Economics. Is Russia in Asia? Four Asian Tigers? East Asia Summit? It's arbitrary. Telsho (talk) 08:54, 11 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Telsho: What do you mean by is Russia in Asia? Why is it even brought here? Of course not, its a European country. Seems like you do have bad geographical knowledge. 103.58.92.10 (talk) 13:30, 11 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Vladivostok is in Europe? Yeah alright. I suppose I'm going to consider Dhaka an African city now. Telsho (talk) 13:52, 11 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Telsho: Oh yeah? When Moscow, the country's goddamn capital IS the largest city in Europe, and Saint Petersburg the cultural centre of Russia is in Northern Europe, you my intelligent friend, bring an port city on the Pacific with 600,000 residents, which looks as European as it gets, to the conversation LMFAO. And oh are Slavic Russians Asian to you my brother? (Personal attack removed) It's easy as hell, Russians are White Europeans who colonized Siberia and made it a part of their country, but that doesn't make them "Asian" not even "partly". Funny fact here, do you know that Europeans live in Siberia, or Russia's Asian part, even when it is in Asia? 103.58.92.10 (talk) 13:55, 11 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Does Turkey moving its capital from Istanbul to Ankara turn them from a European country into an Asian one? What about when Europeans colonized Australia & New Zealand? Exactly. Moscow and Saint Petersburg wasn't always inhabited by East Slavs. The borders are arbitrary, "mate". This is a pointless argument. Telsho (talk) 14:06, 11 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Telsho: Moscow and Saint Petersburg were always under Slavic control, what kind of retard are you, it seems you know absolutely nothing about history. The Russians are a European nation belonging to Europe, Just like the Germans. And i like how you dodged my facts, when the country's capital and largest city is the most populous city in Europe, and one of the most known European capitals in the world, how tf can anybody consider Russian even a bit Asian? Australia and New Zealand were European colonies, colonized by Europeans, and the Russians are Europeans, and Russia is not a freaking European colony.
Siberia was colonized by the Russians and was made a part of Russia, a European nation. Don't bring European "colonized" countries like USA or Australia here. They are minor colonies of Europeans. While Russia was a European colonizer itself. Before saying bullsh*t learn about history. Me myself, i am an Asian, and you are gonna teach me who is Asian huh?
And Turkey is a Middle Eastern country, and Turks are Mongols who emigrated to the Middle East from Central Asia. And then invaded the Balkans as the Ottoman Empire. It was never European to begin with, now the country has a small part of it in Europe. Doesn't make it slightly European, the country is Islamic and Turks speak a Asian language and have an Asian culture. Learn about history, culture and ethnicity (Personal attack removed). 103.58.92.10 (talk) 14:10, 11 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
So you don't consider Vladivostok an Asian city, but then also say that Russia is not a "European colony"? You do realize the Russian Far East has only been inhabited by Europeans as recently as 200 years ago, right? By that point, the United States has been independent for at least 70 years. Do you consider places like Sakhalin rich in European history? I'm sorry you had to resort to personal attacks just because you couldn't get your facts straight. Telsho (talk) 14:31, 11 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Telsho: Vladivostok literally has the nickname of "Europe in the Oriental" lol, Yes it is a European city geographically in Asia, but European by culture, which makes it European. Sakhalin is filled with 83% ethnic Russians with Ukrainian minorities (according to the Demographics section of the page). Yes my friend, it is indeed European, since it is almost 85% ethnic Russian. And yes, the Russian Far East and Siberia as a whole is a (Russian/"European") colony of the "Russians" themselves, which they absorbed into the European nation of Russia by the 16th century. As easy as that.
Funniest matter here, 80% of the Russian population lives in the historical European portion of Russia, and Siberia has hardly 5 cities worth of mentioning. Siberia is just a sparsely populated part of Russia with abundant natural resources, but no population. So why is it so hard to get it in your brain that you have no idea about geography, culture, or demographics. Russia is a European nation, will forever stay one. 103.58.92.10 (talk) 14:36, 11 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Any city can create a nickname for themselves. With this response, do you agree that the geographical borders are arbitrary and purely conventional? Telsho (talk) 14:41, 11 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Telsho: Yes, Europe is simply a large peninsula of Asia, which was socially constructed as a "continent" because of the difference of cultures between the West and the East. Its borders are artificial, and are made by simple mountain ranges and watersheds by "Geographers", which is why transcontinental countries are created. Europe is literally the same size as the United States, it is not a continent, anybody can see that. Eurasia is a real continent.
Out of the transcontinental countries, Russia is considered European while Turkey and the countries of the Caucasus are considered Asian, read this article big-brain. - List of transcontinental countries. Let's see how you respond to this. 103.58.92.10 (talk)
