Hello I just could not understand what was wrong with stating that Steven Gerrard is considered to be one of the worlds best footballers. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 3E933333Boy (talkcontribs)

The thing that is wrong with that statement is that many people (such as fans of Man U or Chelsea) will consider that as false. As a general guideline, the situation in which a player could be considered "great" include induction into the English football hall of fame (English players), or the FIFA 100(international). Furthermore, the information should be accompanied by a reference to multiple press material (BBC Sport, NYT et cetera ) stating it as a fact.
