Reporting misspelling is vandalism? That sounds efficient for a locked article.2603:8000:D300:D0F:D5D:8295:289E:24F5 (talk) 21:13, 11 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You're clearly capable of contributing decently, and your Teahouse edits aren't terse at all. Your two edits there were, and after the first I think you're clever enough to figure out why you were reverted and use a few more words. But I'll unblock you now. Th article edits are very fundamental that any editor with experience to the extent such as yours should not find it difficult to understand what needs to be done when there are certain conditions involved that start as an IP editor, unless such a status may cause certain assumptions to be present in an edit. A teahouse contribution is a whole different matter since it may involve complications depending on the issue. A number of editors have not found a problem with the misspelling directions. Extensive directions on an article talk page can if one is not familiar with the lingo of grammar, etc and WP technical directions tend to be potentially confusing. Anyways, if someone tells me about something I start to look for it through a "search" using a key word(s) something to differentiate it from all else in the situation. I do not know much about the technicalities of WP and I will in all probability not learn because i am not all that invested as are others. We obviously have two different approaches to what we do in WP and i am not about to change yours. But i do know that if I do not understand something then I leave it instead of a knee jerk revert. I am not in an edit count competition.2603:8000:D300:D0F:D5D:8295:289E:24F5 (talk) 14:47, 12 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Your teahouse posts show a lot more knowledge than you give yourself credit for. But "== impossble = impossible ==" looked like a lot of random edits I see from IPs on talk pages. Maybe if you'd used even > I might have cottoned on, but an equal sign? Anyway, I appreciate your post about cancer. My second 3 weeks of the 12 for chemo starts Wednesday. Oh, and searches are great, I do them all the time while editing. Doug Weller talk 14:57, 12 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I don't have that character on my keyboard. My doc was just starting off as a resident and had never encountered anyone with an allergic reaction to the chemo so when I got my first round it perked me up back to normal but the last one earned me the name of Tasmanian Devil as it took a little time to set things up to administer an antihistime so i was franktically walking running through the hospital to try and calm down. After a 3 hour nap my doc said now she will know what a reaction looks like.2603:8000:D300:D0F:D5D:8295:289E:24F5 (talk) 15:12, 12 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Wow. Bad luck. I guess you could have just written "impossble is spelled incorrectly". I am sorry, but anything except the = sign would probably have worked as it just made no sense. Doug Weller talk 15:20, 12 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
